so can I ask you and others in this site that read Bible and other religious texts, IS IN THEM IS A REFFRENCE FOR PROPHTES OF OTHER REGIONS AND ALSO WHOM FROM CHINA OR NATIVE AMERCA THAT THIER HOLY BOOKS REFER TO PROPHET OR RELIGIONS OF OTHER REGIONS?
(seems that on that time connection between poeple is very weak and God didn't want to poeples know of others in other regions!!!!)
In Islam we have only information about prophets of ME region.
I guess it depends what you mean by "prophits". Paul wrote most of the new testement of the bible, and he was a roman IIRC. He is generally considered to be a disciple rather than a prophit. I cannot recal he making any prophises (forteling something that is to happen in the furture). He did write about visions he had from god. Was Luke greek?

Of course religions that come from the far east have prophits from there.

Pual was Sual who was a Hebrew who worked for the Shanhandrien. Pual is often considered an Apostle; that is what it says in Acts.

I remember a certain event where Paul claims his rights as a roman citizen, and says he got it by birth rather than buying it. I could be miss remembering, I do not read it as much as I used to.

If you want to know who the author of those are, he's Jack Chick, a complete nutjob. I chose the comics about Islam; he has many more on many subjects.

2. Is death metal music popular in Iran?

3. Don't you think Muslims around the world overreacted to the Danish cartoons? Isn't rioting over cartoons a bit much? Also, isn't freedom of speech (within Muslim nations) more desirable than having censorship, even if you find something offensive?

4. Are you (and other Iranians) happy the US went to war with Iraq? It obviously removed a threat from Iran (Saddam).
for first question plz refer to
The Star, the Crescent, and the Cross

Cypher from ...And Oceans is my favorite metal album. It's actually industrial metal, not death metal, but it's close enough.

This page has two of ...And Oceans's mp3s at the top of the page.
http://www.themetallist.com/download_mp3_eng.html

This one is by far their best song: "Aphelion: Light Evanescence: Into Extinction".

You can listen to other songs from other bands here:
http://shop.relapse.com/content/downloads.aspx?MediaTypeID=2

The mp3s above are all legal. The ...And Oceans mp3s are released from their record company.

I would think that Death Metal is as popular in Iran as Gangsta Rap.

Death metal sucks and I'm a metal head. I've seen Iranian music videos at a local cafe and the music was basically generic pop music with an Iranian theme of course. Relatively boring but I don't like western pop music either. Cute women though which regardless of region of the world you live in pretty people will always be on TV.

I you travel to Iran you will be wellcomed as atourist (after passing some bourocratic steps)

Where should a western tourist go in Persia? What are the ruins of Persepolis like? Can you see snow-covered mountains from Teheran in the winter?

PersianBoy :

Forgive me if my questions seem offensive or if they strike a raw nerve , but having been given such a chance to talk to an Iranian , I cannot pass it up .

1) As an Iranian , how do you consider your pre-Islamic past ? Is it to be cherished as a part of your historic identity , or is it to be consigned to the time of Jahilya , of ignorance ? How do you preceive your pre-Islamic past ?

2) How should Iran today deal with the ruins which predate Islamic culture ? Should it neglect them and try to destroy them , as Khomeini did ? Or should it try to preserve them as part of Iran's historical heritage ? Or should it hand the past over to the UN ?

3) Do you feel that Shia Islam is a revolt against the Arab conquerors of Persia ? Do other Iranians feel an element of revolt against the Arab conquerors in their religion ?

4) Do you feel that Iran is yet to overcome the feeling of defeat which came upon it when Zoorastrial Persia was humbled by the Islamic Arabs ? Do you feel that such a feeling of defeat exists ?

5) Is it trying to overcome this feeling of defeat by embracing its own form of Islam , which may itself be a revolt , more closely ? What is the trend in the youth of Iran now - towards more fanaticism , or more liberalism ?

6) What are your feelings towards the Parsees - the last remaining Zoorastrians , the original inhabitants of Persia who made it great , and who were finally driven out of Iran because of persecution by Islamic authorities ( who came to India ) ? If they wanted to return to Iran , how would Iranians treat them - as people who are returning , after a long time , to their ancestral home - or as another people to be converted , after whose conversion the Islamisation of Persia will be complete ?

7) What are your feelings towards India ?

You're allowed to use the internet in Iran?

And not have it censored or monitored?

I was in Iran last year, and was able to access all my favorite gaming sites.

It's just that broadband isn't as widespread as it is in most western countries.

While we're on the topic of language, Is Persian an easy language to learn if your first language is English?

It's a simple language to learn, in my opinion. No complications like English, German, Chinese, etc.

In our newspapers, we see Iranians who cheer wildly and want genocide, supporting an Iranian nuclear weapons program. How big a part of the population do these Iranians form?

Let's not threadjack this wonderful thread, but no, I'm not entirely sure. I'm not willing to take the chance that they are developing them for other military use.

Well I would hardly call it threadjacking, but my apologies if thats how it appears.
As I have not seen any mass demonstrations in Iran calling for Genocide and Nuclear weapons, only demonstrations for there rights under the NPT to allow RandD into fuel cycles etc so I wondered if he had confused this with what his question was referring to.

But if you are really worried by a nuclear armed Iran may i reccomend reading this
http://www.ndu.edu/inss/mcnair/mcnair69/McNairPDF.pdf
For a excellant unbiased opinion into the implications of a nuclear armed Iran.

What's youth culture like in Iran? What do younger people usually do for fun?
What do older people do for fun?
complex of iranian culture and western culture
also iranian culture is mixed up from ancient persian culture, islamic culture, turkish culture and others
youth want to show that they know the western culture and do as think westerns do but lack of relation cause some difficulties
many say they are rape but don't know much about it and IMO the most important factor in making difficulties is language
many of them like me have not a strong base in other language spicially in English so can not be falimiar with westerna culture and so make a culture mixed up from western and Iranian and iranian is dominant
like other places of world they go sport, parties (with some limits on drinks and dancing but usually limits broken and some time police contrevene because neighbours call them for contrevene very high volume of muzic and other things caused this)
walking is a popular because in walking boys and girls meet eachother and be freind
me for example for fun hear muzic, go to parks and mountains, sport (most popular sport of Iran is football like other countries), parties(because of high economic cost everyday decreasing), watching TV, movie, cinema
I don't know what do you do for fun, else?
say me some of them maybe they are interesting
and one of the important of my funs, I am going to forgot it
INTERNT
chating, searching, penpals and others

oldmans do as can I see many old poeples in mountains but I don't think all of them could climbing mountains
old poeple are unfamiliar with new technologies (with some excemptions but I don't think your grnadpa can easily use Ipods, can he?)

weekends all of the mountains and parks are full of poeple
