No, don't think so. Considering the fairly good rate of scum lynching happening d1, if you just say "oh, we can lynch anyone", experienced scum can easily set up mislynches every game.

First of all, the rate of scum lynches d1 is probably the worst out of any day.

Second, obviously I meant it wasn't important who the people getting voted are, not that the alignment doesn't matter. Because the in-thread reasons for voting anyone are going to be fairly weak d1, underlying motives (e.g. saving scum buddy) have a lot more influence in who people choose to vote than they normally would. So no, it doesn't really matter who the bandwagons are on, but that is not the same as saying we still shouldn't try to make them the best candidates possible. It's saying the best candidates are probably not much better options than the other candidates.

Third, I've definitely seen (essentially) random d1 lynches that nabbed scum, so you're wrong that it makes mislynches happen 100% of the time.

I moved off Visor because I had gotten the reactions I wanted. My opinion is that at least some opportunistic scum were still on his wagon when I moved off.

Landlubber actually looks really bad for moving off at this exact time. The timing is bad, as I said before about the timing of her vote on visor, but the reasoning is acceptable. Don't know why, but the vote moving just seems opportunistic/moving along to thread consensus.

More votes on Cuth, more on me. Less on Visor. Some people starting to scum read you.

1. Yes just MU, where I've been in one non-turbo game with her, where she subbed in as town. So I don't know her that well.

1. This is the part that I like of your post, as you did in fact mention that "I" was being different, and commenting on the use of blushing smiley. That is exactly the sort of thing I wanted to use the cover for(no that I originally had in thought to be seen as Alette, rather just that I was female, but I played along with it)

2. A)Sometimes the right thoughts first come a little late for me, which I believe is that it looks good for you(although not hard clearing you in any way).
B) I've already explained why I didn't reveal it right away, in response to Glossy. In short - to see if any of you who thought I was Alette would figure out I wasn't. In hindsight I agree that you actually did caught suspicion of that, but you didn't make the conclusion that I wasn't her.

Okay, so, you're not going to be getting much from me until after Thursday when I (hopefully) get a big project done.

If I'm lynched or murdered before then, meh, go for it. I was excited for another Pizza game, but this might not be worth it.

Hmm, it seems towny because:
1) he's calling lots of people useless with no qualms about it. I agree, I'm quite useless D1. Sort of. I can be useful. Not too much now.

2) I tend to town read people who scum read me/call me out for good reasons. You don't fall into that category.

3) pretty relaxed, natural thread entry. Looks good.

4) the only iffy thing is the vote because of mind meld, but I've seen worse before.

I get what you said about him not being as eager to please here, but the only game of his I've read that was really slimy and people pleasing was Snow Crash (or whatever it was called). His other scum games have a bit of this attitude, but he's gotten a lot better imo.

I agree that there is no attempt to manipulate the situation, however I read it neutral..4 day first day, there is no need for scum to be active behind the scenes yet (barring needing to save a scum buddy).

Visor's been pretty consistent, I'd like more of an explanation on what exactly changed your view of him that's more in-depth than "it's not scummy anymore". Second of all, it's very clear what changed my view. I wanted reads/leans from Visor, and I said that very clearly when I voted for him. He started acting a lot more like the townie Visor that I'm familiar with, so I moved my vote off of him. Yes, the "winds were changing," but they were changing for a reason-- Visor changed his behavior. You're way off base.

I'm actually not sure about that.

If there's a good amount of activity, d1 is often not weak.

And a lot of games I've participated in have ended up with D1 scum lynches. And this is a selection.
