Aspiring Rapper's MAFIA- Game Thread

@Cass_
" but lololol at you if you read her Town based solely on post count and effort."
I'm not solely doing it on that reasoning. As I even stated in the posts you quoted from me, it's also based on being able to follow her thoughts and her progression.
I may have read too little of the scum game of hers that you linked(I read part of it last time you or someone else linked it) - but I didn't see her being as active as in this, not as dominant and solvy in attitude either, and as I recall a post of hers where she even excused activity(something about being in another game as well), which I doubt we'll see any of here.

Sorry if my lololol sounded rude (it does to me on re-read, but it was meant to be light-hearted). Mostly it's because I defended her as likely Town last game, ITT and against my mentor - based on effort and the fact I could follow her thoughts and progression early game... I'm not saying Sushi's scum here. But I'm not giving her a complete Town pass just yet.

I think the main differences I can see in her play is that as far as I recall she was less antagonistic in her wolf game. Here she seems to actively pursue anyone and everyone. She was more buddying people in the other game, or at least that's how it looked for an outsider.

She was still posting a lot. 650 posts over the course of 2 weeks. Not as much as here, but still a lot. This means very little to me though. If it's glaring then sure, but I don't have a large reference sample, so I'm not going to clear her on post count. I feel like attempting to do so is a bit strange as well.

As far as wolf meta goes she's far outside of it, but I'm judging from only watching one game with her. At this point I have no intention of voting Glossy D1. Perhaps not ever.

Agree with all of this, and have definitely noted the same wrt the bold.

So, I just skipped to the last page (in my kid-sized 20-post pages) and I see that things already got uncivil, and I'm topping the board! :goodjob:

Sorry, I can't keep up with you, guys. I've got to page 17, and I don't think I've got the time to read the rest.

Allow me to explain my vote on Visor.

This. Visor, I actually do hold you to a high standard. One that I'm aspiring to achieve myself, but apparently, not in this game. :)

It comes to rewards/risks. Risk of you being scum and your inevitable gloating in the end that you told us this on D1 but nobody believed you, outweighs any reward that an unhelpful town Visor may bring to the table.

Well, I already have been worshipping you, so you may just as well start acting like one. "What Would Visor Do?" - is the question I sometimes ask myself when playing mafia. :)

Alright, Visor seems to come to his senses by page 17, so I'm going to Unvote, though certainly regret it later, when he flips scum.
I like Lassie and Glossy driving the discussion and prodding folks for reaction. This is something I usually try to do, too.
Cuthillius I find hard to read. I have a scum bias against him, even when he's town. :(
Similarly, I always have a town bias for landlubber, even when he's scum.
Under no circumstances I'm going to defend Takhisis this game. :)

Cass_ has voted early in the day phase. That is something she flat out refused in the last game we played together. Why the policy change?

You read Cuth Town in Snakes?
Do you have an actual problem with any of my votes/reasoning for votes this game?
I get that the volume here is overwhelming but I'm still concerned that you have no questions/prods other than that since your last post and in 17 pages.

I had a mentor for my last game and he really helped cement the idea that getting votes out quickly ITT - even if it's just a hunch - is more helpful than trying to solve/be 'certain' on everything all the time. If it helps I was the first to vote the D1 lynch as Town in that game and it was my best vote all game (mentor left me and I went back to floundering/trying to be sure/voting late and it was awful). Also, NB I refused to vote before I had strong-ish scum leans last time; there's a difference between that and refusing to vote 'early'.

@Cass - Thanks for the re quote, here is an answer.

@KingMorgan, can you pls explain:
1. The reasoning for early vote on Visor?
A- His laziness and wolf jokes, he was not posting as town Visor, usually he will have called out and voted for half the thread on D1.

2. Why, for each of your current WTL?
The people I listed were people I could lynch if we were going for a compromise candidate, secondary on my scum list if you like, thought I made this clear in my original post.

3. Why Glossysushi/Lohren/GK are no longer WTL for you?
Oh they are on my list aright, still minor suspects until there is more data. Excluding Sushi of course, enough data on them.

I am tired of Day 1, it is becoming bad tempered and circular, I don;t see a lot of progress being made, so hence my top 3 of possible lynchables.

To be honest I'm just as happy to follow the game from the sidelines after seeing some of the constant rubbish posted by some ppl, I really don't need to hear an analysis on other peoples one line throwaway comments.

Unvote Vote: Lassie your grasping and placing your vote where you think the wind will blow. Very wolf like.

Noted, ta I think. FTR It was clear your WTL were WTL/players you're considering scummy - point 2 was about getting your actual thoughts/opinions/observations/the reasons why those players were candidates on your scum list ITT.

I'm unsure of my read on KM right now but the vote here on Lassie is one of the more suspicious IMO (the whole train being rather sus for the speed it built up with).
- It's the fifth vote on Lassie while hers was only the second vote on KM.
I don't recall there being great pressure heading in KM's direction so if either of the votes are shifting with the wind I think KM's is more likely to be the culprit;
- KM had Al Sips as candidate for scum/WTL since #725 #768. At the time of this vote Al Sips was leading train and Lassie had never before been mentioned by KM.

Will talk after the game about it. Sort of off topicy.

What are your specific issues with those in your Scum category?

So I amuse you? I amuse you how?Like a clown, do I amuse you?
You don't look like a pigeon...

Ok, read up again, obviously not going to respond to all of the dozen+ pages since last time.

For whomever asked, my read on choxorn was slight town lean at the time of asking, slightly more townie now.

I agree with the scumy reading of Arakhor, I have not however changed my previous thinking on Al/Cuth, and prefer a Cuth lynch still (followed by probably Arakhor). That being said, I would prefer any of the 3 to anyone else (including Lassie). Zack is also looking more townie IMO.

Ta for the reply.
FTR I'm a little sketched out by the fact that pressure on Choxorn seems to have been skimmed over/flooded out for a second time. The rapid train on Lassie built after the mention that he might be a good candidate for information, and since then of those who were mentioned by him/called on by me only Mat, Cuth and Lassie have given their thoughts. Interesting also that those with scum-reads on him are voting elsewhere.

@Lassie - I'm semi around - sick and dealing with kids and having trouble staying focused.

About to go ISO Arakhor and see where I missed a the claim but let's talk.

You're pushing for a vote on Visor/Cuth and have a scum-read on Choxorn.

Choxorn defends Visor, joke votes Edse and then unvotes to vote Cuth with meh reasoning, and has just switched to Arakhor late on the train. Is it just me who thinks this would be a good lynch?

AFAICT, his actions have been fairly scummy, him flipping scum would potentially help clear up uncertainty on a few players, Visor and Cuth included?

People to burn in a pit:
Visor
Cuth
KingMorgan
probably Landlubber if Visor is scum(based on my most recent analysis)
Xym

Be highly suspicious of(everyone, but in particular):
Choxorn
Arakhor(we might be wiser tomorrow, mechanically, since he has claimed a PR today)
Golden1Knight(especially if Cuth is town)
mat93
edse
Newyn

People who I feel good about being town(in no particular order):
Cass_
Glossysushi
Jarrema(not a strong feel though)
Kennigit
Lohrenswald
Zack
Sooh(not a strong feel either)
Pouter Pigeon

That'll be it from me

Choxorn definitely suspicious indeed - would prefer him > Arakhor(who have claimed PR)

Us pit folks have been a-bussing hard on D1 according to your view, thats a risky proposition from a wolf team I think.

That's a thought for later days, if I'm still here then. Also, in a game with no seers, bussing can be a fine strategy for scums - so I'm not going to clear scummy people, just because they vote other scummy people.

I need to reread this thread and make notes later, but for now I wholeheartedly support a Chox lynch.
