Interesting.

Have we seen a proper founding of a religion yet? Is it in that video? I'm wondering if it's still a Great Prophet meaning you need to win a great person rush.

Supposedly religion was supposed to be hidden by the NDA. But we should see more details in today's Livestream.

Siege tower is a support unit, confirmed (like a battering ram).

War Chariot does the kind of silly thing again where it requires no horses, and doesn't even really function like a cav unit. It gets 2 movement and has a high attack. I guess it replaces the old axeman?

Certainly makes Egypt's UU sound better.

I feel bad for Arioch, I hope he has lots of coffee available. He'll be up all night and I can't wait to see it all nicely formatted on his site.
Indeed.

To AriochIV - thanks for your awesome work!:goodjob:

A bit off-topic, but this is the best video I've found so far to listen to Civilization VI's main theme! :goodjob: And WOW I really like it!
Thanks for sharing!

Nice! Beats the hell out of Brave New World's theme. Only thing I disliked about that expansion was the theme bleh. This sounds like a joy to listen to

It's funny to me how people keep calling the things on the civics tree "techs" :)

There's no need to say "civics techs", they're just called civics, hehe. I don't know if each card that a civic unlocks has a name yet, so I'm just calling them civics cards for now.

Edit: Actually it's pretty clear. The cards are called Policies. So: Governments > Civics > Policies.

Speaking of music, each civilization has its own specific background music, which is nice :)

I like that things like Industrial zones can give a bonus to towns other than the one that built it, so that sometimes you can get a benefit from building towns closer to each other. Something else that increases diversity of choices and layouts.

I also really like the sound of the culture victory here, and very interested in the new science victory conditions! I wonder if it works much like older spaceship or not, what is the difference in terms of gameplay. And I wonder what your options are to prevent someone else from reaching that victory.

A lot of things I like tbh, governments & civics, the eurekas, the gear animation when researching, seeing mountains from a distance, music..

Honestly I'm liking pretty much everything that's known so far. I'm hoping the release isn't a let down because as of now I'm liking it a lot.

Ah. Petra is back.

Okay the War Chariot is still up in the air. In one video there is a clear 2 movement tooltip, but in another it's 3 movement. So maybe it is an actual cavalry unit and one tooltip was wrong.

where's sean bean on the narratives?!?!?!?!

and why can't i use all caps?!?!?!

Moderator Action: Wall of bold removed

Ugh... why does Brazil use the republican flag, instead of the imperial sigil? France and Japan are using imperial sigils, not their modern flags! Hell, America is using that shield from civ 5 instead of the modern flag!

Ah. Petra is back.

On steroids :goodjob:

I liked both Xcom and GR in the game. Personally I would love to see 2 more tech ages well into the future 'ala' Call 2 Power 2, but I suppose Ill have to wait for modders on that.
