Battle for the Human Body V. 3.0

I will post a new update in awhile! Thanks for your feedback.
Sadly, the 'Quick Load' thingy doesn't work on my computer, so I'm going to have to use a different computer.

EDIT: Yeah! I fixed it! It now is easier to download.

Good stuff. And isn't the heart on the wrong side of the body?

I don't believe so (it may be in the middle though).

EDIT: I was just looking in the editor and I now know what you mean. The 'body' is supposed to be facing you, and I had its left side marked right (I also had some of the left side marked left, so it was all screwed up). I posted a fixed version, though.

For all you PTW players out there, I am currently making a Play the World version of this. I'm nearly finished.

I liked the idea, but I got no idea where and how to install those units and stuff... How I do it? :P

I liked the map file, but does the scenario got diff terrains? It would be a lot more funny to play with a diff culture border and diff resources, so would seemed more like a human body. :)

There isn't different terrain sadly. :( The funny colors is what happens when you convert a bitmap into a GIF file.

Oh, and thanks Cloner4000 for your praise! I really apprecite it!

PS: To put new units in, download all the units, and put them in the 'The Body' folder.

Looks very original and promising, although I don't have time to download it right now. With modified graphics and a bit more anatomical details (I spent 2 years in medicine so my interest is really triggered!), this could be a new standard for Civ! Are you planning to work further on this mod?! :goodjob:

If u fixed it it's kind of hard to see. The only complete download I see is under a 'PTW' umbrela and it's a .bix file.

My suggestion is to remove all the links in thread #1 and only place there the global download.

You have to download All the units, and then download the main link. This works the same way for the PTW version.

By the way,

[party] 100th POST! [party]

I made the download easier to see (And besides, the links saves space).

Also, you should have seen the download before. :D

Now it seems clear - I will download and try it!!!

EDIT: It didn't work. :(

Wait, we don't have to download the main download AND the units, do we? Why don't you put everything together into one 'big' download?

.

Yes, you have to download the units too. This was done, because the older version had all the files spread out. I then put them all into one file, except the units. All you have to do is download the main file, and then download all the units needed. Put them in the same file, and viola! You have the game.

This has been requested from some members (cough, cough, DragonBird, cough).

Mind you, it took me an aggonising 2 days to completed ;) :D.

You still need to download the units at the top of the page.

Here's the Download
Ill find some time to download this but I have to make some edits to mine, 3 days left!!!

I really hope you like it! There was one bug. I couldn't make it so that the Body couldn't build germs. And the Germs were building the Cells! It was crazy!

We'll, I think I fixed it.

I can't wait for your scenario... ;)

Just set it so that the germs are available only to the germ civ, and the cells are available only to the cell civ.

The wierdest part about this is that I did!

Now that I can't help you with. :p

Oh well. The PTW version is fun though, but you have to manually declare War sadly.

Sorry I replied so late. I might work a little more on this. (Maybe a sequel or 2) :D

Originally I looked for organ-like units, but I found none. Then I just decided to make the Body units nice and square(ish) and the Germ-Bacteria units blobular and dirty-looking.

I really wish someone would make anatomical terrain and stuff like that. That would be cool.
