Best Song Ever?!

I Drink Alone - George Thorogood(sp?) and the Destroyers

no no no! it's obviously revolution-beatles!

I thought he was only there for Kill 'Em All.

The latest album is pretty good, and it's amazing that they're still going strong.

IIRC Mustaine was credited on about half of the tracks on Ride the Lightning but I hadn't noticed him credited on Master of Puppets.

After Ride the Lightning was released Dave told Lars that he didn't want them using any more of his material so Lars just didn't give him credit for the song. Dave had named it "the hills run red".

As far as SLAYER still going strong, hell ya. I don't go to too many concerts any more, but I will always go see those guys when they tour. :goodjob:

So many possible classical songs.... for rock, first one that comes to mind is Everlong by the Foo Fighters.

Baba O'Riley by The Who

...and hello everyone :)

Noooooo :D Comfortably Numb is even better live. Exactly two years ago I heard it at Gilmour's Gdańsk gig and I'll never forget it but... I was more exited in the Astronomy Domine beginning ;)

I would definitely agree that "comfortably numb" is one of very few songs that give you the creeps when you listen to it. just now my home stereo has started playing "I love my computer" by Bad Religion, that is always good, but I'll have to think about this for a sec :D

edit: hell yeah, I'll go with "the decline" by NOFX. can't beat something so long, so varied and with such good lyrics, eheh.
