Can anyone find any other maps like these?

On the subject of population, I always thought it very interesting that there are more people in Bangladesh (which is about the size of Louisiana) than Russia.

Asks if people have any similar maps; complains when someone posts one. Steve.jpg.

OUCH!

(I don't get the Steve reference.)

I could never understand how the population physically fits in there. Why isn't the whole country one massive slum? I still see mostly green on Google Earth.

Also, there's the fact that Russia has about twenty times the GDP per capital of Bangladesh, despite the Russian population being one of the most spread out in the world.

It's basically one massive flood plain, so they're not hemmed in along the coast or along waterways like most Eurasian countries. Sort of like an anti-Japan, if that makes sense.

Of, there is still a lot of space there. Land area per capita:

http://world.bymap.org/LandArea.html

Even in Bangladesh there are still 783 square meters per capita.

In Israel there are 2599 m2 per capita and in India 2405 m2 per capita.

Netherlands - 2008 m2 per capita
Ireland - 14253 m2 per capita
Belarus - 21118 m2 per capita
Australia - 341320 m2 per capita
Greenland - 37522277 m2 per capita

This map shows shares of each region in total GDP of Ukraine:

From this datas, we can extrapolate: east > west.

From this datas, we can extrapolate: east > west.

First and foremost, we can extrapolate: Communism > Capitalism.

As so many members of this generally pro-leftist western forum believe know.

Development of GDP (PPP) per capita in Poland (Polska) and in Ukraine (Ukraina) from 1990 to 2012:

Similar comparison between Belarus and Poland would be even more shocking, as Belarus was richer than Poland in ca. 1989-1991.

Today Polish GDP per capita is about 3 or more times higher than Ukrainian and about 2 or more times higher than Belarusian.

And in period 1989 - 1991 it all started with Ukrainian GDP per capita being equal to Polish and Belarusian being higher than Polish.

And here is GDP annual growth speed in period 1990 - 2012:

Polska - Poland
Ukraina - Ukraine
Świat - World
