The Entente Cordiale is signed to better co-ordinate the best interests of the forementioned nations, to peacefully solve any conflicts between their interests in the best possible way, to face threats to the interests of either nation taken together or both with the strenght of them combined and to co-ordinate their military efforts against common enemies. In other words, any attack on France, be it diplomatic or military, is an attack on Russia, and vice versa.

It is expected that the Kingdom of Spain and the Kingdom of Italy would also join the new Entente, being already allies of the French Empire.
