Yes. I remember what happened to my glorious Connecticut in TWTUD.
Damn school for not letting me build on the "escaped heir" plotpoint!

)@Luckymoose: Indeed, if you can restrain yourself from nuking the entire world (assuming there are nukes) there are many interesting things that could be done in the latter half of this century.
TWTUD was USA and DAI doing a lot of things like Brazil and Russia will probably end up doing in the coming decades. SPACE RACE!
We meet again, TLJ. >:[

You can bet your boots that I'll be involved in the space race as Britain or anyone else who has a shot if Britain failed to survive that long.![]()
One just has to love the slow motion diminution of Empire that is observable in the British Imperium.
Lucky, you will find yourself competing with ME in the space race, because if there's anything I look forward to in this NES more than anything else is space colonization, sci-fi toys, etc. You can bet your boots that I'll be involved in the space race as Britain or anyone else who has a shot if Britain failed to survive that long.
And no nukes, Lucky. No! (I still have bad memories of INES II where the NES ended because of an extremely dumb nuclear showdown, and I had just barely started running my dream nation, the Hellenic Imperium.)
You can tag along on my program if Russia hasn't killed everyone in Europe by then.To be fair on Circuit though, Britain's involvement in the Fireworks War is what's really driving the process along. Africa quite possibly only fell to a bunch of squabbling states because of imperial overstretch in its decision to fight the Red Army. Considering Guangxi has tangentially began a shift away from Britain, perhaps all in all the costs of that decision outweighed any benefits. At any rate if it had fought in Africa instead of China, it had a good chance of maintaining its colonies, with Guangxi maintaining a chance of perpetuating its existence considering It almost certainly wouldn't of in the absence of British support, gotten into a foolish, strength sapping, war with the Ascendants.

After the colony broke out, the Xinjing Massacre occurred, and the update said the evidence pointed to China, so I went after China (to not do so after the murder of the king would have surely meant a stability hit) and decided to leave East Africa which really wasn't offering much EP and would have been far more expensive to reconquer. In hindsight, China had nothing to do with the massacre, but I stand by my decision at the time.
