@EQ, my only issue with the information presented in the EXTRA sections is that it conflicts entirely with the idea that my army had spent thirty years outlining and drilling into our soldiers a plan for a defense of Finland that took into account everything that had occurred once the war had actually begun. I'm still not at all convinced that my troops couldn't have graduated a retreat through Finland, causing heavy casualties against Russian troops and significantly bogging down the Russian advance, using the training and resources which were readily afforded to them.
Then again, I gather it is entirely possible that this is what in fact happened, and will become evident once Russian casualties are disclosed in the update.

Pfft, offering incentives to capitalist firms to do what they would already do, but faster, isn't command economy. The government in Brazil already paid massive amounts in grants and tax cuts to build the groundwork for what has gone unused since the recession. I'm in my right to tell my companies to go use them and stop being slobs. Especially considering how absolutely huge Brazilian mining should be compared to literally everyone else in the Americas. Russian level iron, aluminum, etc. No reason it shouldn't be exploited. My Brazil isn't some backwater corrupt agrarian state like OTL Brazil.
On Russia: Circuit and Nintz pretended for the past 20 years that Russia wasn't coming for them. Should have listened to me instead of working against me and maybe you'd have a friend still.

The conversation on Landcruisers seems some what over but I thought I would just post this information.

Due to the sheer size of the landcruiser, it cannot actually cross any bridges, and can only ford rivers, and therefore cannot actually cross the deepest rivers."
Its safe to assume that the fortifications at the Mannerheim Line have guns that are battleship size. Are we saying that none of the landcruisers were taken out by the guns located in the Mannerheim fortifications?
Better yet how do you explain how Landcruisers advanced into Finland when the majority of the area is covered in marshes, lakes, and rivers? Many of the roads in Finaland require bridges of which the Landcruisers are unable to advance across. I am sure there are some passable rivers but surely not all of them. Maybe someone with a better knowledge of Finnish geography can chime in?
Along with this, the Maginot Line also fell because the German military completely circumvented it. They went completely around it, through Belgium, and encircled the French military that was left at the Maginot Line. I am sure many of you know this but I thought I would put it out there.

This isn't any form of attack on you or anything but Abdul is not a first name. It literally means "servant of ..." or "slave of..." in Arabic. No one would ever be introduced as Abdul. You are also Iran so why aren't you using Persian names? Ill come back later with more on this whole name thing.

@DuneBear: The landcruisers were only used for the initial assault on the line. They have not been used in other combat.
I'm sorry, I had an epic picture in my mind, too. Maybe, one day, when I roll off of my project and return on the bench for a couple of weeks, I'll catch up on some interesting evens of the CI history. Battle of Charleston, Hollande's assassination, the Fireworks Massacre, Russian landcruisers stuck in a bog two hundred yards past a Scandinavian fort they just destroyed...I'd still say my personal favorite story is still crezth's from the fighting in Charleston. I just like the imagery of it. It was the picture that I asked Ahigin for, but never got.
BTW, TLJ, "Averin Titanovi Ataka Tankova" (the name you gave to your landcruisers) doesn't sound Russian. Did you mean something like "Super-heavy Assault Tank designed by Averin?" I'd suggest something "Sverhtyazholiy Tank Proryva (konstruktsii) Averina" ("Сверхтяжелый танк прорыва (конструкции
Аверина"). It's not a big deal, really, but feel free to borrow this name if you'd like. Or just PM me if you'd like me to help you with naming your other vehicles/aircraft/ships. It's a sort of a tech porn for me.

I know, I was less concerned with it having a plausible name than having ATAT for its initials (an homage to Empire Strikes Back and the huge Imperial walker All Terrain Attack Transports used on Hoth). Conferring with my friends who speak Russian that was the best we could come up with. The ATAT story is actually an homage to said battle. I will take up your offer in the future though

Where exactly is the Mannerheim Line then? Because if its farther back than the national border (so that it forms a continuous body) I am looking at on the world map you're still running into rivers, mass forests, swamps, lakes, etc. It seems like this has already been decided so I'll just leave it as it lies.
"Atakoviy Tank Averina-Trubetskogo" - "Offencive Tank designed by Averin-Trubetskoy". It sounds a little bit weird, as the word "atakoviy" is really rare nowadays, but it's still grammatically valid and plausible. Up to you, though.

I'd advise against underrating Vinland's mineral resources, we're definitely up there, and we're not a backwards, undeveloped state either. We're loaded with copper, zinc, lead and gold across the country, and we have respectably sized iron mines in Nya Sverige and Markland.

Source of al-Din last name from current dynasty. I believe this means the current ruler is technically Naser al-Din Shah Qajar II.

I plead cultural barriers that needed overcoming. The conservative nature of the Asiatic markets ATL makes initial investment in new markets unlikely without some degree of encouragement from the government. The first impulse of Japan would be to return to the pre-civil war (alternately known as the Fireworks Warring Period) economic status quo. Prior to this, economic trade with regions bordering the Indian Ocean were minimal. Economic uncertainty due to on going revolutions and conflict in the 1920s, as well as European exploitation of Africa had undermined what little initiative Asian merchants and companies would have had in trying to enter the markets present in the region. In the past decade, there has been some (relative) stabilization in African politics. While there is still plenty of isolated incidents, in the last 5 years, the largest incident was the Sudanese-Abyssinian War, which left Abyssinia relatively intact.
Combine that with the disruption of Mediterranean trade routes being disrupted, and an overall period of reconstruction on continental Japan, it would make sense for the Japanese government to encourage companies to attempt to tap into new markets during the reconstruction phase. The whole reconstruction gives Japan to balance out their industrial economy with more agriculture, while allowing other countries to market their natural resources to a relatively quiet power. Whether this pans out or not, we'll see.

It is historically accurate sure but I just thought since you're Iran you'd want to go with more Persian-ish names such as - Ali Khamenei, Hossein Pirnia, Hassan Habibi, Mirza Nasrullah Khan, or Mohammad-Ali Rajai. Not to say that Naser al-Din isn't Persian - he most certainly is, and from how I understand his family its rule over Iran is historically accurate for CI. In the end it doesn't really matter since they are Muslim in the end, and there are Arab influences all over Iran, but more Persian-ish names would have been more interesting imo. I know you can't do this now but just a thought.
"Al-Din" is not a last name. It literally means "of the religion" so when used with a name it literally translates to "Naser of the religion". It is apart of his first name though. If you were to use a last name it would be Qajar seeing as that is his family/dynasty/tribe name. And Shah would of course be King. I hope this helps and anyone with more knowledge on the subject is free to correct me.
