We have given you a chance to remain a viable nation. We made you a fair treaty given the unwarranted aggression and the outright support of the Empire of Brazil for the treaty. Next time a treaty is offered the penalties will be much harsher.

We thank you for your support and in the case of Brazil would like to know if you are going to take a more direct hand in the situation. We offered a fair treaty as you yourself saw and it was rejected. Their offer of reparations is so laughable it doesn't even cover the food we have sent to the valiant Venezuelan Army for this war.
