- Portugal: this is a nation with some potential, even after they got mauled by Spain in the American Presidency Warand I need a player I can manipulate in order to annex Portugal and it can use its hatred of Spain to find allies.
- Hungary: they are quite powerful economically, although they have been losing relevance in the last few years. (TAKEN)
- Mayan Republic: their main role is to serve as a buffer between Spain and New Spain, as well as providing a grand vantage point for trading ships in the Caribbean.
- Peru: a nation that broke away from Spain, it still has strong ties and an amicable relation with Spain (its king is a relative of the Spanish Emperor), and serves as part of the anti-Argentine-Brazilian Axis.
