can't believe we don't have this thread already, but hardly too late to start...

a few loose guidelines (not hard rules):
  • I'd encourage everyone to stick to the hour mark until we get closer to release. once we're six hours out I'm cool with the half hour, once we're two hours out no reason we can't post updates at the minute level
  • once we hit zero, people are still encourage to post their own personal 'X time to download' or 'X time till I get off work' posts. additionally, there will remain the official release to count down to
with that said...

36 hours to go

32 hours 27 minutes 14 seconds

Edit: I was an hour out. It unlocks 4pm my time.

Twenty-Nine
hours to go

Guess staying awake late at night is helpful for something…
Also veintinueve, and vingt-neuf, and vint-i-nou, and noin-und-zwanzig, and ventinove, and fiche a naoi, and negenentwintig

Last night re-watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail as a relief from all things Civ.

Found myself contemplating what kind of Exploration Age unit the Knights That Say 'Ni' would be.

Gave up.

Just think of it as releasing everywhere in the world at 12 AM eastern.
No.

I will think of it as releasing everywhere in the world at 4pm AEDST.

Now if I can just figure out how to make 23 hours and 44 minutes disappear.

You know what.. with the 30mbps internet I have at home, the download time is going to be the longest part of it all, even if only 20G
