America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 9 + 1 = 10: The most different in all the eras, and vey heartfelt. Should stick around a long time.
Arabia (Üsküdara) = 13
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) = 19 - 3 = 16. Really just not that great or epic, not compared to America or Russia.
Japan (Itsuki Lullaby) = 9
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13
Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 18
Poland (Hej ide w las) = 21
Russia (Kalinka) = 7

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 10
Arabia (Üsküdara) = 13
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) = 16-3=13 I like Alexander Peace in Civ5 better, plus two leaders have this theme
Japan (Itsuki Lullaby) = 9
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13
Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 18+1=19 Very uplifting theme for me, a worthy successor to Civ5's Morghe Sahar
Poland (Hej ide w las) = 21
Russia (Kalinka) = 7

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 10
Arabia (Üsküdara) = 13
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) =13
Japan (Itsuki Lullaby) = 6 (9 - 1) - We're reaching the point where one single era can't carry the entire theme anymore. Steampunk Atomic theme is not enough. And in general, why would one pick a LULLABY (and a rare one at that) for a civ theme? Norway's theme flopped because of that, and now it's Japan's turn.
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13
Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 19
Poland (Hej ide w las) = 21
Russia (Kalinka) = 8 (7+1) - Despite so many mentions of the Atomic rendition, the Medieval one should be acknowledged as well - it's the closest to the original Kalinka out of the four. And while I can see how people have a love-hate relationship with this theme, everyone acknowledges that it's a memorable one. You KNOW when Russia is in your game, which IMO is better than hearing a theme and having no idea what civ it belongs to.

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 10
Arabia (Üsküdara) = 13
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) =14 (13+1) This and Scythia's theme are the two best in the game. Deserves the top spot!
Japan (Itsuki Lullaby) = 6
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13
Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 19
Poland (Hej ide w las) = 18 (21-3) Definitely not the best theme in the game, one of the worst left on the list IMO.
Russia (Kalinka) = 8

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 10
Arabia (Üsküdara) = 13
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) =14
Japan (Itsuki Lullaby) = 6
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13
Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 19-3=16
Poland (Hej ide w las) = 18
Russia (Kalinka) = 8+1=9

To the last man! To the last breath! To the last drop of blood! Not one step back comrades!

Again persia has a nice beat and tone but lacks the same "oomph" as the other remaining songs and up until the Industrial era it doesn't have any real climax at all and instead just meanders around until it abruptly ends. It's a nice tune and the later versions are great but we're getting to the end and any flaws are becoming more apparent.

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 11 (10+1)
What's with these 'astronauts' complaints? This song has absolutely nothing to do with astronauts. It was written by Stephen Foster before the civil war. In any case, it's one of my favorites remaining.

Arabia (Üsküdara) = 13
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) =14
Japan (Itsuki Lullaby) = 6
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13
Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 16
Poland (Hej ide w las) = 18
Russia (Kalinka) = 6 (9-3)
Kalinka only has 1 or two good eras, IMO. Middles ages sounds nice, but after that it can get a bit grating.

Please note; I pretty much always vote at around 9pm NZ time (12 hours ahead of Greenwich). I couldn't vote then tonight, but I will return to that time tomorrow.

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 11
Arabia (Üsküdara) = 13
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) = 15 (14+1)
Japan (Itsuki Lullaby) = 6
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13
Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 16
Poland (Hej ide w las) = 15 (18-3)
Russia (Kalinka) = 6

Sharing the down-votes around :undecide:
Greece has to be top 3.

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 11
Arabia (Üsküdara) = 13
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) = 15
Japan (Itsuki Lullaby) = 3 (-3) Trying to think of how all these sound, and this is the least memorable to me.
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13
Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 16
Poland (Hej ide w las) = 15
Russia (Kalinka) = 7 (+1) Immediately recognizable, tenacious earworm, gets better and better throughout the ages.

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 11
Arabia (Üsküdara) = 10 (13 - 3) -- One of the more forgettable themes sadly.
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) = 15
Japan (Itsuki Lullaby) = 3
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13
Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 16
Poland (Hej ide w las) = 16 (15 + 1) -- Still the best theme in the game.
Russia (Kalinka) = 7

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 11
Arabia (Üsküdara) = 10
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) = 15
Japan (Itsuki Lullaby) = 3 - 3 = ELIMINATED It's still a lullaby, even in the Atomic era
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13
Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 16
Poland (Hej ide w las) = 16
Russia (Kalinka) = 7 + 1 = 8 What other theme has male chorals?

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 12 (11+1) The more I listen to it, the better it sounds. Maybe it's because I tend towards science victories.
Arabia (Üsküdara) = 10
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) = 15
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13
Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 13 (16-3) Not the best, I don't think. More personal tastes.
Poland (Hej ide w las) = 16
Russia (Kalinka) = 8

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 12-3=9 - You may ask why I'm still talking about astronauts. When I hear Atomic theme, I always picture american astronauts preparing to be launched to space. That is fitting. Space race during Cold War. And I like it. I like all of American themes, and Atomic is one of the most beautiful pieces in whole soundtrack. I like this theme really much, but I hear it too much in my games with USA present. USA was first country I eliminated in my game as Germany. And even after it's death, the theme was still playing. I was wrecking Spanish coastal cities with Battleships and Missile Cruisers - American Atomic theme was playing. I was killing giant Sparta - American Atomic theme was playing. I saved the game and loaded it tomorrow - American Atomic theme was playing. I nuked Kongo and Rome - American Atomic theme was playing. And, as I said, it reminds me astronauts, and I don't want to think about astronauts when I'm nuking city with lot of population and that nuke kills lot of people. I want something different. At least when I load game as Germany, play German theme, please. It's somewhat depressing, but it's fitting the mood of vast German Empire crushing smaller countries.
Arabia (Üsküdara) = 10
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) = 15
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13
Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 13
Poland (Hej ide w las) = 16
Russia (Kalinka) = 8+1=9 - I'll join the Russia defence forces today. When I hear Russian Ancient and Medieval themes, I picture cold and snowed country, and the Atomic theme really shows how powerful and vast Russia is. And that choir is amazing!

Japan was eliminated!? What on earth is wrong with people. It had the most authentic Japanese instruments and best Atomic Era theme in the game, not to mention the most haunting Medieval era theme.... :(

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 9 + 1 = 10 - The issue Kimiimaro has with this theme is that in his personal experience he heard it when it was inconvenient or unfitting for him. That's a problem with music implementation, not with the music itself. So this astronaut invective inappropriately inserted into this debate is not only downright weird, but fails to acknowledge America's other themes. America's themes have the best era transitions--moving from banjo in the Ancient Era and a more countryside feel to something grand, inspiring and national in the Industrial and Atomic Era themes. The transitions do not repeat or echo each other as much as say, Persia's themes or Greece's themes. Also upvoted America's themes because they the most moving set of themes in the entire game--genuinely uplifting, like taking a breath of fresh air after a country has emerged from near ruin to greatness and renewed vigor.
Arabia (Üsküdara) = 10
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) = 15
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13
Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 13
Poland (Hej ide w las) = 16
Russia (Kalinka) = 9 - 3 = 6 Russia's themes are nice, but too repetitive.

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = (10+1)=11 Makes me feel patriotic..
Arabia (Üsküdara) = 10
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) = 15
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13
Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 13
Poland (Hej ide w las) = (16-3)=13 It's a good theme, but doesn't deserve the lead in my opinion
Russia (Kalinka) = 6

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 11
Arabia (Üsküdara) = 10
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) = 15
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13
Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 13
Poland (Hej ide w las) = 13-3=10
Russia (Kalinka) = 6+1=7

A cold wind is blowing, the end is near, and yet we stand undaunted!

As for Poland while I like the Medieval version a lot and the industrial has some very nice sections it can just feel a bit too... busy. I love big orchestral scores but Poland's theme has too much vying for your attention at times, like in the Atomic theme there are parts where multiple kinds of wind instruments, synth effects, two different kinds of drums and yet more bells and whistles are all going off at once and all seemingly trying to fight for the spotlight rather than complimenting one central rhythm. Or in the Industrial where the drums are plauing at near equal volume but to a slightly different beat than the wind instruments which is more distracting than helpful.

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 11 +1 = 12 Felling patriotic
Arabia (Üsküdara) = 10
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) = 15
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13

Arabia (Üsküdara) = 10
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) = 15
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13
Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 14 (13+1)
Heartfelt, very fun.

Poland (Hej ide w las) = 10
Russia (Kalinka) = 1 (4-3)
I don't *want* to penalize Kalinka, but there isn't anything else in the same ballpark quality wise.

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 12
Arabia (Üsküdara) = 10
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) = 15
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13
Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 15 (14+1) I've always been a fan of Persian music
Poland (Hej ide w las) = 10
Russia (Kalinka) = -2 (1-3) ELIMINATED something has to go, and I'm not too fond of this one

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 9 (12-3) Had to choose between this and Macedon
Arabia (Üsküdara) = 10
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) = 15
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13
Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 15
Poland (Hej ide w las) = 11 (10+1) Deserves TOP 3

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 10 (9+1) Just a really good song. Great in every era, but my favourite is the industrial. Rousing! And very fitting for America.
Arabia (Üsküdara) = 10
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) = 15
Macedon (Tino Mori) = 13
Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 12 (15-3) Decent, but definitely not top 3 material.
Poland (Hej ide w las) = 11
