Scythia (original composition) 9+1=10 - It's not the best, but it's good enough to survive longer.
Spain (Recuerdos de la Alhambra) = 2-3=-1 (ELIMINATED) - Medieval version is maybe good, but it doesn't change the fact it sounds like something from romantic film. It deserves to go now.

Brejerio makes the think "wow, that civ should win a tourism victory". When it comes to themes with fairly repetitive central melodies, Brejeiro is a lot better than Banaha.

I've left Scythia alone for a few days since it clearly has its passionate defenders, but it just sounds too similar to Egypt's theme, and Egypt's is better. Go back and listen to Genghis's theme from Civ 5. There's no comparison, imo.

For a viking theme you'd expect something heroic, action packed, and adventurous. Something out of a pulp movie, or at the very least something ominous and foreboding. Instead you get put to sleep by one of the least energetic beats in the game. Seriously, this sounds like something that would play in Hel, not Valhalla!

While the ancient version of Egypt's theme is one of the most annoying to me personally each subsequent version ramps up the energy and by the Industrail era it sounds absolutely wonderful and very epic in scale.

Rome (Magna Mater) = 12-3 = 9 I decided I dislike this one more than Scythia's after listening to both once again just now. Scythia's Medieval era music is actually good, it's the 3 other eras that I find depressing

Too much 'twaaang'ing for me in China's theme.

Brazil (Brejeiro) = 12 - 3 = 9 This. Is. So. Annoying. So cheerful and chirpy it sounds almost maniacal when played so many times over and over again. If there were a theme music for that AI settler you see out of the corner of your eye about to build next to your capital, but you can't do anything about, this would be it.

To me, this one is much better than Egypt's. They're similar. but Scythia's theme feels more evocative and moving. ​

Everyone is just doing their own thing re colours & bold/not bold etc right? And whether or not they make it slightly easier or slightly harder to delete their maths... ;)
