As much as I would love to take Brazil's theme out back behind the shed and put it down I can't bring myself to deliver the killing blow since, while it lacks the scale and power of other themes, it really is a catchy and charming little beat so I'm just going to have to give someone else the satisfaction of knocking this dog out of the race. Instead I'm going to take a swing at a song I actually like more, Persia's theme. Yes it's good, but I don't think it's THAT good. It doesn't have any big drops or "Wham" moments until the very end of its Industrial and Modern theme and lacks them altogether in the early versions of the song. While the melody is good not having those big hitting moments makes it more fit for background music than something to actively listen to. It's not a bad song by any means I just don't think it's good enough to be so far ahead.
Hopefully this one extra hitpoint can carry Kalinka just a little bit further. I realize it will probably be going down soon which really bums me out as I think it is certainly a contender for top 5 and far more compelling than many of the choices remaining.
