Civ4 Warlords - OT game?

i very strongly dislike rules number 5, it is part of playing a sim move pitboss game and therefore a double move is one of the 'exciting' parts-it isnt such a huge exploit either because it leaves you open for a further 24 hours.

As long as we're all playing by the same rules, I'm okay with it or without it - anyone else vote one way or the other?

I assumed someone would take Mali, but I was proved wrong. (I only really wanted Ragnar or Monty)

Cool. Ragnar was by far the most popular (I think about half had him somewhere in their top 3), you're the only one even mentioning Monty, and he was on one person's short "anything but ..." list.

Hmm, looking at that list, these are rather...aggressive leaders. I'll just have to remember to remain calm and hopefully not get into a land war in Asia.

Civ transformed me into an agressive warmonger, unlike the other civ's where I was a hardcore peaceful builder.

especially in MP where you can't trust humans, and we are playing with people from the OT

ill go look for a thread where they explain the 10 golden rules of MP newbie mistakes.

In the CivIVor game we went for random leader and I landed Peter. Lots of civs and normal map = war. now I got a protective and agressive leader. Ill always have unit upgrades on my side.

Tokugawa totally kicks some butt now. Free combat1 promotion for melee/gunpowder, free drill1/garrison1 for archery/gunpowder units, half-price walls and barracks. He may well be the Warlords version of Caesar, meaning you're going to get dogpiled before you can make it to gunpowder.

Your comment about their being alot of aggresive leaders is very true - this could be an intresting game! Especially with the new warlord unit!

no. agreed. but divine samurais might come in handy.

and I agree with BCLG, 2 turns in a row should be legal.
but with a amendement : during a attack each player should wait for the other player involved to make his turn.
