I see no dissenters and I was leaning towards a 10 turn moratorium so it is done by edict of the Grand Poobah Whompee.

No wars shall occur for the first ten turns.
That's fine. (I still haven't found anyone yet, so I'm not sure who I could attack, anyway....)

Hopefully someone will let us know when those ten turns are up? Since I've already lost count. Or can someone state what year that will be so we can be prepared?

Let's see, it is 3840 BC right now, turns are 40 years each...

4000BC
3960
3920
3880
3840
3800
3760
3720
3680
3640
3600 will be the turn where war can be declared, roughly 5-6 days from now. Whoever remembers, go ahead and announce it. :)

woulda been handier setting this out beforehand so i didnt gear my city towards building a warrior real quick but whatever :)

Now you'll just be extra prepared, as opposed to me who has 5 warriors out "exploring" with the women and children left behind to protect the city with their pots and pans and toy guns. :D

I just defend my capital with a scout for the first fifty or sixty turns. :p

We are (for now) Vikings! Our women and children are vicious!

Man did I misread that the first time - I thought you said "delicious"... :cringe:

I have planes exploring for me but since they are all kamikazes they crash before i can have any info on the land. So I sent my warrior on a rescu mission to look out for my crashed planes.

well, when we get worked up in our berzerker rage, that has been known to happen at times. The first queen died that way.

I'LL SEE YOU IN VALHALLA!

Just out of curiosity, what happens if I miss a turn one day? Does my scout just not move that turn, or does it stop, or anything bad like that?

If you have it on Go-To (or Auto-Explore) it will make it's movement at the end of the turn right as the timer expires. If you don't have it set to move, then it will stay standing where it is.

Queue your actions the turn before.

Make your scout move 2 steps instead of one.

:)

Are we certain that queued moves do get done at the end of the turn?

@HAK: that's a mod thing. The poll will stay, but we'll start another (poll-less) thread when we hit 1000 post in this one.
