Civ4 Warlords - OT game?

Yeah, that would be best. At least then the civ won't be sitting idle for someone to just step through the front gates and take over without much of a fight.

It could always be another substitute/team thing like others have. Or doing the AI for now would work too.

EDIT after seeing Whomp's reply: If he's not back before the end of this timer, probably will at least want to kick to AI until he does return.

But since Robboo is in the Warlords game, that's why he's not playing BCLG's turns in that one.

Davo's away at another music festival (just until today-ish, apparently). I think he attends one like every other week or something; must be nice.

It's kind of the same festival, basically I went to the Reading leg and BCLG went to the Leeds leg. Same bands, same organisers kinda thing.

For at least the previous turn, it was BCLG, who is on vacation or something. I know of two other games where he has a stand-in, apparently he forgot about this one. I think he'll be back in the next 24hrs.

i didnt forget, i just had no-one who could play as the majority of the folk i know dont have warlords and i didnt know you were passing to matrix ID, im back now and will play the turns.

I'm actually going to be away this entire upcoming weekend (Friday through Monday) and most likely won't be able to play until Tuesday night.
I'm already basically a sub for Rhymes, but unless he can log in, I'm either going to need a sub or to retire and set myself as AI until I return.

I have a pretty early UU, and I'd like to use it before it becomes useless - but not if it means getting dogpiled by everyone else. In there some sort of "unofficial" rule for these kind of things, where after a certain period of time it's not considered ungentlemanly to attack someone?

Anytime before 3600BC is an illegal war, and you'll have the League of Nations on your back . After that anything's game (with respect to attacking).

EDIT: Game date is 3520BC, so you can attack whenever. I just hope I'm on someone else's island...

What Truronian said - the official peace period is over, and attacking early would be perfectly understandable given your early UU.

IGloo.. will keep you informed. If I only head away for 2 days I will set a pre set. If anyone attacks during that time...I will call their manhood into question.

besides i can see 3 turns away form my city now anyway...and it will take more than a scrawny warrior to hurt my tanks thats right I popped the tech for tanks
