good thing cuz finally I wont have access to the game for the next 2 days!

RB, are you going to be able to play a turn by 6AM EST Thursday the 4th? Because if I bring the game up tomorrow at 6AM (as currently planned) that's when the next turn will be done.

btw (and I know I'll regret saying this...), i just got warlords for Xhristmas, so if anyone's going to need a sub, I'd be willuing to help out :)

The glorious and mighty Comyn Council sends greetings to all and sundry and hopes you all had a wonderful holiday break.

It has just been asked of me whether doublemoves are prohibited (as noted in the rules here pre-edit) or allowed (as later noted here). Going by that, they're currently allowed.

Shane's proposed amendment seems a good one to me, that doublemoves are allowed in all cases except when accompanied by a declaration of war. Can we have a show of hands, thumbs-up or thumbs-down?

In favor of the amendment (i.e. doublemoves allowed except with war declaration):
Azza, ID, RB, Kan, VRWC, HAK, BCLG, Matrix

Opposed (i.e. doublemoves 100% allowed without restriction):
-

With eight of fourteen players responding yes, the amendment to the rule passes.

 In favor of the amendement

I'm for it :)

What about double moving during an actual war though, out of interest?

That would still be allowed, under the amendment. It would just be that a player won't move and on his next turn find that he is at war with someone and they've taken two moves since his last turn. Once both players know they're at war with each other, they can doublemove as much as they want.

Cheers for clarifying :)
