Civ4 Warlords - OT game?

Civ4 expansion pack Warlords will be out in... <checks the top-right of the screen> 4 days, in the US anyway.

Is there any interest in participating in CivIVor: Warlords here? If there's more than a few people interested and figure on being able to start by August 1st I could get another Pitboss server going for it.

Igloo, can we consider custom civs for this game? Or too difficult? On 2nd thought, never mind, its easy enough to pick the Civ that suits you and change the names, etc...

Custom civs? I wouldn't know where to start...

But we might be able to get someone to do a custom map this time...

1.Finding a mapmaker should'nt be an issue.
2.Permalliances are interesting in PBEM.
3. No way. These games might be won more out of game than ingame.

I'm pretty sure I'll have the expansion but not 100%. Explain to me why? Is there any concern regarding bugginess because the original was mighty buggy.
I may have you guys test it first.

i think we need to give warlords a couple of months to sort the bugs out that it will inevitably have.

Actually yeah, I'd prefer a October-ish start. That way I can make sure I'll have enough time for all this jazz during uni (and if they even allow this jazz).

well replace one letter and thats allowed at uni so i see no reason why jazz isnt...

I suspect random selection. I followed the link above in CFC to pre-order, picked Amazon.com and was placing the order. When I went to my basket to checkout, this offer came across to try it on a 3 month trial basis for free. Afer that, it is $79.99 per year if I remember it rightly.
