The beauty of paper is that I dont need to have open borders to look at your land. ;)

aye another beauty is that i dont even have to have it to see in your lands

edit-also in honour of RM's post, im at war with someone, you should know who you are- you shall meet your doom soon.

Oh, I'm at war with Shane now. :ar15:

I noticed. I log in and I"m at war w/ 2 people and a city is gone.

I thought we had a "no double moves" rules, esp. when declaring? Maybe not...

Oh well, its only a game. :) Probably wouldn't made much difference as that city was at the edge of things.

Well, I'm done. I logged in and it automoved a couple key units even though there's an enemy adjacent to them.

gg's all.

I've been at war with you for 3-4 turns now though.

I know, I'm referring to the first round where I logged and you had declared. Like I said, no big deal, I doubt it would've made a difference.

I have a lot from the couple of games I've played amongst these forum goers, though, so, its been interesting.

Actually I was very careful not to make a double move in my first 2 turns. I did make one on the 3rd turn though.

Shane I just PMed you asking you for a screenshot, but then I remembered that I have civstats, so I can make a pretty good determination of what actually happened. Folks, if in the future this comes up again please PM me ASAP (or if I am involved in it in-game, bring it to Whomp) so that if there is a broken rule the option of turn rollback is still available.

The following (spoilered) was what I got from the turn order. It appears that the crux of it is that you missed your turn on 23JAN. Azza waited 23hrs on the turn after he declared, so I can't fault him for taking his turn with less than two hours left on the turn timer.
Spoiler :

27JAN 7:17AM: Azza turn

27JAN 3:12AM: now 560AD

26JAN 11:06PM: Shane turn
26JAN 6:23AM: Azza turn

26JAN 1:07AM: now 540AD

Shane missed turn
24JAN 11:36PM: Azza turn

24JAN 11:16PM: now 520AD

24JAN 9:12PM: Shane turn
24JAN 6:00AM: Azza turn

23JAN 9:19PM: now 500AD

23JAN 7:21PM: Azza turn
Shane missed turn

22JAN 8:15PM: Azza at war with Shane, per thread
22JAN 7:23PM: now 475AD

22JAN 12:40AM: Azza turn (presumably Azza declared war here)
21JAN 10:33PM: Shane turn

21JAN 5:21PM: now 450AD

20JAN 9:07PM: Azza turn
20JAN 4:10PM: Shane turn

20JAN 3:40PM: now 425AD

19JAN 8:06PM: Azza turn

Yeah, I was thinking about this last night and I wondered if that wasn't what had happened.

No matter now.

GJ Azza. :)

GGs all. :)

Shane, when will you be able to log in to play your turn today so that I can log in to play mine so as not to DM you from my end? Just want to know my timing for the day.

lol, don't sweat it, its game over for me at this point, so go ahead.

actually, my DM'ing wouldn't have mattered anyway. Your city has one Archer in it, and my attacking percentages aren't good enough this turn anyway. I could possibly do it, but I'ddefinately lose one of my Axes. And since a catapult arrived this turn, no reason not to wait until I get the defenses down lower before I attack. :)

This Vassal thing is interesting...apparently Azza's score is directly related to mine. So when I whip something and lower my population...and hence my score....his score goes down too.

And FWIW, Shane, I hadn't DM'd Uppsala at all - it just didn't have any anti-mounted defense so I'd rushed it with chariots and horse archers*. I have been careful to not DM at all this war, FWIW.

It is looking like this is it though, so good game, man. :)

*Edit: And btw, if it makes you feel any better, I lost a 93% odds horse archer battle to the lone warrior , after the axe was already dead. ;)

GG Shane :)

Bah, missed one turn yesterday and I'm at war. Hopefully I can hold out with the units I have as I mobilize the rest.
