few days ago GF with their disastrous Pokemon S/V lunch and now THIS! Is this what Gaming industry has come to? Bugs and poor launches!

It's been that way for at least 20 years now. Pretty much every PC game has tons of bugs and a bad launch.

I blame the move to digital. Now they can patch it after launch, they rely on it. Some less than scrupulous person figured out that they can shave some time off between starting the project and launching, and now the market pushes for it.

That’s fair, but unfortunately this launch is not going great. I’ll wait a week then and maybe I’ll get the DLC and for the 2K site to be up so I can finish linking for Caesar but it doesn’t look good for me sadly trying anything today

Since this is a rounding error, they'll probably not extend it.

It speaks volumes about the depth of the diplomacy systems that the abilities of the "great negotiators" are barely related to diplomacy, if at all. I hope we get fancier external affairs in the next game, maybe some more complex interactions with other leaders. It could bring in a lot of flavour.

Absolutely. Once most players had an Internet connection and game companies could more easily patch their games, they started to release them with many more bugs than they had previously.

That's how most people are right now. You have to wait for Steam to scan your files and allow you to download it.

I bought it, not realizing it would be free, so I got the refund a few minutes ago. I have all previous DLC so I should still get it for free when y’all do, right?

They were, it's what broke the additional content. The 5gb patch fixed that part though. We're still waiting on the leader pass.

Well, update is that my game finally recognized the existence of a 2K account again so Caesar made it, but yeah no LP. I’ll probably attempt Caesar tonight but I’m bummed because I wanted to try Lincoln or Queen Nzinga.
