Since there's also a patch coming on the 21st, there's not much time for first looks. Unless they're not doing an update video this time around, though I don't see why not.

I would not be surprised if there's no patch video; I expect the more hefty free game updates to drop in the months between the new DLC. I also am not expecting a livestream because of working from home.
Yeah, and one is obviously 7wonders! Statue of Zeus at Olympia world wonder is the only missing one in the list, so is that a hint we are getting it?
Also, one is obviously Lord of the Rings, so do we get a fantasy theme?
And that stack of Ticket to Ride versions, new railway options?
And what about the load of Domination games? Does Ed prefer a domination victory?
In all seriousness, I can't wait for the next DLC, and I'm wondering when we are able to buy the frontier pass. I'm surprised we aren't able to yet...
One more reason I could think of might be technical. Maybe it's not as easy on steam to do pre-order of DLC as it is in case of game itself? I think in case of Civilization all DLC's once they were available for sale, there were also immediately available for download. I don't know if there is a good example of DLC being sold before release date on Steam. Maybe someone re-call scenario like that with any other game?
That's not a problem, you definitely can. Plenty of other games on Steam do that (like all Total War DLCs can be pre-ordered weeks in advance of their release for example)

It's in the background of the announcement video where he is talking. He clearly has Civilization: New Dawn out in the front but all the other ones are blurry for copyright reasons. If you own a lot of board games, like me, you can make some of them out easily.
We've played Mad King Ludwig several times, as well as Pandemic.
It's always possible we could get Tuesday & Wednesday First Looks next week, and then a livestream or quick feature video on Apocalypse Mode on launch day.
How likely do we think the there might not be first look videos due to pandemic-related issues? Also, will Sarah still be narrating them if they do come out?
