[NFP] Civilization VI: Possible New Civilizations Thread

From the website:

EXCLUSIVE BONUS: TEDDY ROOSEVELT AND CATHERINE DE MEDICI PERSONA PACKS
Two of Civilization VI's leaders are transformed with a new look and new abilities when you lead America and France! “Rough Rider Teddy” excels at keeping the peace on his home continent, and “Magnificence Catherine” can use Luxuries to overwhelm the world with Culture and Tourism. Each Persona Pack contains a brand-new take on a favorite leader, with a new leader model and background, new gameplay bonuses, and an updated agenda that reflect the changes to the leader’s personality. The Persona Packs are available exclusively to owners of the New Frontier Pass and will be delivered with the second add-on pack.

I guess direct competition from Humankind has helped them do this. And it's all the better for it.

When and where can I buy this? I want this pass now!

Very exciting. New leaders I expected (yay Maya!), but additional gameplay modes sounds fun.

Really gonna need more details but with the launch date of 21st May I think I can hold on!

@bite

I'm not sure how to change the title. Can you make Frontier singular and add Pass?

According to the steam anouncment

So, what can people decipher from this?

Gran Colombia most likely. It looks like Spanish American architecture, rather than Brazil (unless I'm wrong)?

Gosh it feels so great to be alive (in this forum again)

According to the steam announcement, Pack 5 requires Rise and Fall
Sounds like the alt leader is for one of Mongolia, Korea, the Cree, the Dutch, Georgia, Mapuche, Scotland, or the Zulu.

My biggest hope is Kublai for Mongolia (and I would love for China as well).

Otherwise maybe Korea or Zulu.

8 new civs, 9 new leaders in total, sort of sounds like an expansion pack stretched over a year.

I'm honestly mostly excited about regular balance changes, which I still think are required in a lot of areas.

New game modes are fine, I'll probably try them once, and then go back to standard games, but I'm hoping to get pleasantly surprised.

No new major gameplay systems mentioned yet.
