Clash of the Warmongers

Yes i did win with a space race in 1898 while the world around me was going down in flames(every one fought at least one war, Catherine was dogpiled). i played for 10 hours but only fought 2 major wars myself, one quick and decisive axe rush against Ghenghis 625 BC (had to follow up with one minor war to finish his remaining 3 cities but this was done in no time around 1050 AD), and one tedious artillery/gren/rifle war against Monty(managed to grab a tech lead mid game to get to artillery early and decided to leverage it).

Edit:@BigCivFan, i told my girlfriend friday in advance that i was going to play this game, she wasn't totally happy about it but she loves computers/discussion forums so much herself that she wouldn't dream of throwing the comp out of the window.

@Madscientist, i would never found/take on a religion on a map like this because

- you get slaughtered and backstabbed by all the civs that have different religions than yours, unlike continents it's impossible to have a monopoly on religion on pangea maps.

- Brennus already has a happiness bonus so founding an early religion isn't needed as much with this leader.

Then again i'm not a pure warmonger myself, if i go to war i always have direct economic goals in mind and i do my utmost to avoid being declared on and being forced to fight a defensive war.

Looking at BigCivFan's games he's not afraid to take on 4 civs at a time :goodjob: looking at his earlier post here and his immortal game thread so he'll probably have a very different view.

Congrats! Well done. I guess you didn't have the patience to dominate the globe :D

It seems everyone who played this game Axe-rushed GK , poor guy. And ever more poor Cathy is at bulls-eye among Alex, JC, Monty, Ragnar and Napolean. She managed to fight off 4 of these guys in my game :goodjob:

I took a marble hill city which housed henge and Parthenon from Monty, i guess everyone wanted it so bad and they came in waves one after another, only bowed to my CG+Guerilla Longbows. I had so much fun playing the defensive battles after building the GW, and found that the compounded defensive bonus is Much more powerful than any offensive bonuses. 1 CG3+Guerilla2 long bow can kill 5 attacking Elephants/mace/cats in the same turn! :crazyeye:

I Had 5 GGs by 1100AD. While that single hill city is fighting off 3-4 nations, I was building/teching in safety.

Taking screen shots took some time but overall was a great game.

Will try to post tonight or tommorw.

I don't think i'm good enough at quick fighting to get a domination win on immortal generally, maybe with the cav rush strat we discussed in Pete's game i can pull it off. It might have been possible in this game because i was the only one with artillery and it's a pangeae map ( i always play continents) but i guess i was satisfied too early only taking out Monty and then making peace with Cathy. At that point i could see a clear spacerace win so i just went for it. Setup was challenging enough as it was.

Cathy deserved to be dogpiled, at one time she was pleased with me, then she began asking for help in really every department and relations plummeted from +5 to -15 , i didn't even refuse every demand. She seems to give -2 for every demand refused. Never noticed before that she's such a pain. She was also the first to declare (on Monty what a nerve).

As for Ghenghis, this was my revenge on him for annoying me in other games that i played against him. He might be the most troublesome leader for me.

All 4 nations declared on you, omg what did you do to them? Did you found a religion btw?
That story about the Hill city is awesome, the guerilla promotion did nothing for me in this game.

I can also post some moments from my game, i have to found out how i take screenshots though.

3 (Alex, Shaka, and Ragnar) declared on me while being cautious at different times. I set up my "stone wall" defense and allowed each war to drag on to trim their power curves as well as milking my GG pts(with Great Wall). Alex and Ragnar had to march their force through Monty's land, so their attacking forces werent that overwhelming. It would be worse had i allowed these guys sitting idle and piling up units at leasure waiting for mass upgrade.

I was at the time mopping up GK's remaining cities. I declared on Cathy when Napolean asked (knowing Cathy was ganged up by Monty/Nappy/JC) at the time, that's when I had 5 simultaneous wars. Shaka only sent a few units at times since I got JC(friendly to me) to teach him a lesson.

I only accepted peace from Alex(with large :gold: payments to me) when my WW got really bad. That is how I got 5 GGs early. So they were "controlled" wars not panic wars.

Game Report #1

4000BC:

Research Plan: Fishing-Mining-BW-Wheel
Build plan: Scout-FB-FB-worker

2nd scout should help fog bust and pop huts.

3680BC:

2nd scout pops Sailing!

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101615/3680BC_hut_sailing.JPG

later at 3600BC it poped AH!

3600BC_hut_AH.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

3080BC:

Map, 2 scouts explored fast. Lots of jungle to the south.

3080BC_map.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

2600BC:

2 FBs built, city grew to size 4, built 2 worriors to deal with barbs. Building 2nd worker to help with chop and improvements. 1 worrior fortified in forrest to gain xp agains barbs. Note copper poped SE of capital.

2600BC_build_worker.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

1960BC:

I had low commerce in capital, I wanted to hold off on the 3rd city until I researched Alphabet. Since the Gem is in jungle have to wait unit i traded for IW. the 3rd city will do nothing until then besides draining 3 GPT from my bank.

2nd city settled to claim cow, copper and stone. This city has great prod potential, will probably be my HE city. I figure the capital + this city can produce enough Axe for GK.

Researching Masonary and hope for stone wonders. For this game GW will be the best wonder cause I would do a lot fighting in my territory.
Workers are roading the stone just in time to build quarry after Mason is researched.

1 worrior fortified on a jungle hill to do early warning against barbs. he has 75% bonus against any attacks, so fair chance he wont need any backup.

1960BC_early_warning_Worrior.JPG

1929BC:

the worrior won against a barb archer.

1920BC_worrior_won.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

1880BC:

1 worker had a idle turn before researching Masonary, i used him to build road next to stone, after the discovery, i pulled him from roading but start on quarry which has higher priority. That road will be build in 1 turn later.

1880BC_worker_actions.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

1480BC:

Whipping Granary in 2nd city as soon as it can. That is my rule of thump.

1480BC_Granary_whip.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

1400BC:

Great Wall built. In general, if i had access to stone, i always go for the GW. its 1 GE pt is also good. 1 turn to writing. Met 7 civs, GK is next door to the East.

1400BC_GW_built.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

1240BC:

1 turn until 2nd city border pop, the workers just roaded cow and copper to claim next. In this situiation, cow first, copper 2nd.

1240BC_1turn_to_border_pop.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

1200BC:

Whip liberary in capital to assign 2 scientists to help res Alphabet.

1200BC_whip_library.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

1080BC:

Had OB with GK, scouting his defenses in 2 cities. Note my scout poped a hut which gave him 6 exp, i promoted him to woodsman2, his 2 jungle moves are awesome, helped a lot to explore and running away from jungle barbs. So he survived for so long to scout large land mass.

GK had weak defense 2 archers in each city.

750BC:

Building Axe from both cities and preparing to rush GK. A GE is born in capital(2 scientists+1 GE pt from GW! Lucky me! Thank you dear Great Wall! I quickly hurried the Pyramid with Heron.

750BC_GE_born.JPG

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

725BC: Alphabet researched, here are the trading possibilities. I held off my invasion against GK until now since I want to trade some techs from him before I butcher him. Will most likely get IW and archery from GK.

730BC_trading_possibilities.JPG

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

725BC: I saw that JC does not have Writing and his Meditation was not widely researched, so did that trade and hope Meditation will get me something from the other AIs.

725BC_JC_trade_1.JPG

725BC: Traded Alphabet for IW+Archery from GK. After my rush, GK will likely stay tech back wards, so no worry for giving him Alphabet.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

725BC: As soon as the trade took place, I declare on GK and my Axe legion promptly captured turfan(lost 1 Axeman, killed 2 archers). It was too close to Vienne and it does not even claim the horse 3 tiles East, so I razed it.

725BC_turfan_razed.JPG

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

675BC: Cathy asked writing as Tribute, I gave it to her. At this stage, I was trying to do everything to up the relations with everyone, and try to identify long-term allies cause I will need them in the future.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101615/675BC_tributes.JPG

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

650BC: 2 city network, note Iron poped with in Capital, but Gallic only requires copper to build.

650BC_2city_network.JPG

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

575BC: Look at this situiation, 5 Axe ready to raid city, but GK had 2 archers guarding a settler next to my Axeman. What would you do? take the city or kill the archers guarding the settler and get a worker from it? I did the later since those archers did not enjoy any fortification bonus thus easy prays.

575BC_fight.JPG

575BC: After fight.

575BC_after_fight.JPG

575BC: the rest of the Axe crew managed to capture Beshbalik the same turn.

575BC_Beshbalik_captured.JPG

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

575BC: JC is willing to trade Monarchy to me for Alphabet+Sailing. Nice.

575BC_JC_trade.JPG

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

500BC: Monty had settled right next to my capital, I saw he only had Jags so I decided to steal his worker and raze that city. Note I had a spear just in case he came with chariots. Also building a Trireme in capital to protect seafood. the capital is a decent prod city for both land and naval forces.

500BC_Monty_war.JPG

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

475BC: 2 wars are going on, on Eastern front, I let GK's archer came in my borders and kill for double GG pts. With GW, it is very easy to choose to fight in you own territory for those nice GG pts. Not my Axe stack is going for the next city.

475BC_fight_in_my_territory.JPG

475BC: Western front, good combat odds... At this pt the AIs do not have large stacks, easy to deal with.

475BC_Western_front.JPG

475BC: After heavy fighting, first GG born. I think I settled him in capital to help build veteran land and naval units. Note I did not build the GLH since I needed units at the time.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101615/475BC_ist_gg.JPG

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

450BC: My veteran Axeman marched down to Nia Shia, It's a nice city with Iron/Rice/Pig, nice boost to health and had 3 workers!

450BC_fight.JPG

450BC: Nia Shia captured!

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101615/450BC_Ning_hsia_captured.JPG

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

450BC: I had 4 cities now, Maint is catching up, so accepted peace with GK for his Horseback Riding.

450BC_HBR_for_peace.JPG

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

450BC: Alex is willing to trade Math for Alphebat+Myst. At this pt of the game, i check for trading possibilites every turn.

Goodness you're aggressive, i've learned not to be too peaceful but i wouldn't dream of declaring on Monty while i'm still busy with Ghenghis, builder genes i suppose. Still i understand your decision, Monty is awfully close to your capital and there is every chance he would have declared on you some moment in the near future. I spent every turn in this game checking the diplo screen for "WHEOOHRN" BTW.

What year did Monty settle there? I founded the Gem city 2E of where Monty is now fairly early in the game (around 1000 BC IIRC).

Monty's capital is far from the western front. My trireme had scouted his capital. The fight took place near my 2 production center, I could easily reinforce, at worst, it would be a tie and give me good GG points. Monty should have sent chariots+axe instead of useless Jags

Edit: Also, i had 2 promotion troops and in a long war, Aggressive civs had no chance against Charismatic civs.

Jags are only good in the jungle, hopeless everywhere else. They get murdered by axes. If i was to play Monty i'd rather have the normal sword then this unit.

350BC: Naval battle. I had 2 Triremes against Aztec 1. No problem.

350BC_naval_battle.JPG

350BC: Monty settled a new city on the same site, i razed it again. Good training for my troops.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101615/350BC_Trainning_troops.JPG

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

250BC: I stationed an Axe on a hill next to Hun, and captured it as soon as it hit size 2. It lost the silk but claimed horse, had less overlap with Vienne and it has good production potential.

250BC_wait_until_size2.JPG

250BC: Maint is catching up, need COL fast, so building beakers in cities.

250BC_building_beakers.JPG

250BC: unit summary. 8 Axe+8 Gallic

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101615/250BC_unit_summary.JPG

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

225BC: Cathy demanded to switch to her civics. Refused. -2 to relations.

225BC_Catry_demand.JPG

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

175BC: Battle of Teotihuacan (Marble Hill city with Cow+Rice and Stone Henge). A prize city indeed.

175BC_battle_Of_Teotihuacan.JPG

175BC: Heavy losses even with those CRIII Gallics and Axes. Lost 3 Gallics and 2 Axe.

175BC_heavy_losses.JPG

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

175BC: Alex got currency. Traded Meditation to him for 160 gold. Selling tech is my most important cash income source.

175BC_Alex_cash_trade.JPG

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

150BC: Teotihuacan fell. Lost 1 more spear to a horse archer....

150BC: Teo View.

150BC_teo_view.JPG

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

100BC: I accepted peace with Monty for his Mono. Now I had successfully reduced Monty and GK to non-threats, and I could focus on my Econ and tech for a little while.

I think I should have researched COL BEFORE Literature in order to found Tao and get ealier courthouses. I could have timed Literature with the capture of Teotihuacan (Marble) for building GL/HE/NE. One bad move. I would still had enough time to beat the AIs to GL.

1000BC_ceasefire_monty.JPG

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

75BC: JC asked for war help against Ragnar. JC is pleased, and I had IDed him to be my long-term ally, so I declared on Ragnar. Ragnar is to the west of Monty, if he came for me, I would have enough to fight him in my territory. Especially Teotihuacan is on a hill, I would have no trouble to hold him with that one city.

75BC_JC_ask_for_help.JPG

785BC: Traded COL+Liter to Cathy for Currency+160gold. It will help my econ.

75BC_cathy_trade.JPG

Perhaps you are right but if I do the game again I will go for polytheism again. The +1 happiness (+1 from monument) allowed quite a large capital city. Definitely worth a repeat play and I will try and plant my cities in the same sites to blance knowing resource locations. Again it was fun and good to lose ocassionally, especially putting up a good fight like I did otherwise the game would get boring and predictable.

75AD: Ragnar came with HA and Elephants. I whipped a Spear in Teo.

75AD_fight_ragnar.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

125AD: Killed some Ragnar units, 2nd GG born. settled him in Vienne(the HE city). Now I have 2 cities building 2 promotion troops. The early GGs are super. It is like having Theocracy without Theology.

125AD_2nd_GG.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

125AD: Alex asked for war help against Cathy. I thought if Cathy is fighting Alex, she should have nothing spare for me; she is also far away from me. So I accepted and declared on Cathy. It is always good to dogpile on Cathy early before she pulls away. Now I am in "War" with Both Ragnar and Cathy the 2 score leaders.

125AD_Alex_demand.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

125AD: Switched to OR to help build NE/HE and courtehouses. Had Representation since I got the Pyramid. Converted to Budda (Monty and JC's religion) to use OR.

125AD: Capital view, It built GL, had 3 food resources. I am using it as a production city And a GP farm since there are no better choice at this point and I need some GS to bulb ASAP.

125AD_Capital_View.JPG

125AD: Forging friendship with JC, not too bad score-wise.

125AD_Forging_Friendships.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

175AD: Ragnar hit the wall at Teo, after leaving some bodies at the city gate, he offered peace for some gold and GPT to me. I think I had 0 casulty from this war.

175AD_ragnar_peace.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

250AD: Trade screen, I am waiting for completing CS, I did not make any trade although I could. But I thought I could get better deals after I got CS.

250AD_trade_screen_waiting_for_CS.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

325AD: First GS. Bulbed Philo to found Confu. Also wanted to build Angkor Wat for extra hammer and gold. Since Spiritual gives cheap temples, Wat would be great to help all cities with Prod and the extra gold.

325AD_bulb_philo.JPG

325AD: Trade COL to Monty for 250 gold.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101615/325AD_COL_trade.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

400AD: Traded Philo to Nappy for Feudalism, an very expensive and important tech. Now I could build those Geurilla Longbows in Teo.

400AD_Philo_trade.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

450AD: A Silver popped in capital, nice!

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101615/450AD_lucy_silver.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

540AD: The GL gave much needed help in research and GS pts. I researched CS, got Metal Casting from a trade, and now 1 turn from Compass. Switched to Beauracracy, and used the 2nd GS on an academy. It is not bad as a reaserch center now even without a single cottage.

540AD_capital_new_Academy.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

660AD: JC turned friendly. Ragnar gave 8GPT for spice. At this pt i could use every penny that I could get.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101615/660AD_Ragnar_trade.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

680AD: Cathy finally showed up with some troops haha. I had built the Dun in Teo and some Guerilla Mace(upgrades from Gallic) and a Longbow defending it. 6 turns to Engineering.

680AD_cathy_troops.JPG

700AD: More Cathy troops.

700AD_Cathy_troops.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

740AD: Check this out. After killing some Cathy troops, my I promoted my longbow to CG2+Guerilla2, with 25% fortified bonus that is 170% defense bonus! Most people dont like Celt's UB Dun, but in my game I used it to its maximum effect.

740AD_170_percent_Longbow.JPG

740AD: my Super longbow in action. He ate 6 Russian attackers for breakfast in that single turn!

740AD_defensive_killed_6_units.JPG

740AD: I bribed JC to attack Cathy with CS. I wanted to keep him busy.

740AD_JC_Bribe.JPG

740AD: Switched Civic to Caste+Pacifism to grow GS(to bulb education). 3 turns till paper researched

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101615/740AD_Civic_change.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

760AD: Capital view, growing GS. 50% chance for it.

760AD_Capital_growing_GS.JPG

760AD: Have stone, building castle everywhere for +1 trade route, it is like having "Free Market" civic for free!

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101615/760AD_castle_everywhere.JPG

760AD: Defense in Teo, 1 Medic2 HA for fast healing, Guerilla Maces also defend very well. Stupid Monty kept settling the area between Teo and my capital. I had to declare on him to raze his city in order to send reinforcements to Teo. So I am fighting Cathy and Monty at the time.

760AD_Defense_in_Teo.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

780AD: 1 city against 2 Civs.

780AD_1_city_against_2_civs.JPG

780AD: Nappy demanded 160gold. I paid him.

780AD: I traded compass to Shaka for Worldmap and 80 gold.

780AD: World Map. Valuable infomation revealed.

780AD_worldmap.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

800AD: Ultimate Hill city defender. CG3+Guerilla2(+200% bonus) Longbow. Can they hold the city?

800AD_ultimate_hill_city_defender.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------

820AD: More attackers died miserably. 3rd GG born. I promopted used him on a level3 Medic(preparing for GK invasion). That is over 180 GG pts so far! GW + strong defense + controled war= GG factory.

820AD_defensive_summary_new_GE_new_GG.JPG

820AD: Cathy ran out of attacking units, gave me nice Gold terms for peace. See you can get gold for fighting a defensive battle! I didnt even have to do anything, just set up the defense, let these guys come, they die, i get GGs and they give gold for peace, it is that simple lol.

820AD_Peach_terms_cathy.JPG

820AD: I traded Philo to JC for Optics+270gold. Not bad, I already got 2 expensive techs(Optics+Feudal+260gold) for Philo, AIs value it highly, and my GS who bulbed it got much more than his worth. Later if I build a Tao shrine for cash, its value will just compound....

820AD_JC_trade.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

840AD: I wont need copper for a while, traded it to Nappy for crab+9GPT.

840AD_Nappy_copper_trade.JPG

840AD: rushing Theology for Theocracy. Since I got a GE instead of GS, could not bulb Education, so I opted to get Theology for it civic and good trade value. Hope the next GP will be a GS to bulb educaiton. The hammer cities are not bad for rushing research like that.

840AD_Rushing_theology.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

860AD: Traded only Gem to Alex for gold, knowing I would claim another Gem soon.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101615/860AD_alex_gold_trade.JPG

860AD: Cathy is ganged up by 3 guys.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101615/860AD_relations.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

880AD: JC and Cathy are at it hard. They both got a GG in that turn. GK foolishly declared on me, he ran out of space and need room i think.

880AD_AI_heavy_fighting.JPG

880AD: Still no GS yet, so I opted to research Guilds before Education. Kinghts would help with my war efforts. Traded newly researched Theology to JC for Theater and some gold.

880AD_JC_trade.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

920AD: Monty offered peace for 240gold payment to me.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/uploads/101615/920AD_monty_peace.JPG

920AD: Another war hero had emerged from heavy fighting. I saved one veteran Gallic to build his exp to 20(level 6) to open up West Point. He had now CR3+Guerilla3 promos, and He received my medel of hornor and promoted to a Maceman.

920AD_war_hero.JPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------

940AD: Switched capital back to build mode and see Wat in action. Preparing for war.

940AD_capital_switch_to_production.JPG

940AD: Civic change to Serfdom+Theocracy. Teo was pillaged hard, need to send some fast workers there to repair it land. Also building up units to mop up GK.

940AD: Look how careless the AIs with they GG Warlords, Cathy and JC lost their Warlords in the same turn!

GS is born!!! Just what I need right on time. I had delayed researching Education and growing this GS, great, just 2 turns from getting Guilds, and then bulb Education.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

1000AD: I traded Guilds to Cathy for Music and some gold. She is doing 1 on 3, This is my way to secretly helping her cause I dont want her to get beat too bad, she needs to be strong enough to keep my good "friend" JC busy. The good old JC will get pissed if he finds out I gave Cathy Guilds, guess he would never know.. -- "insert evil laugh sound track"..........

If she really needs help, i might even sign a OB with her and gift her couple of knights...

It is really interesting that Cathy is willing to trade with me while she is Furious towards me, I guess she is desperate to get those war techs.

1000AD: Alex regrouped and came with stronger units at me again, does he really like that city so much? I already moved bulk of my attacking forces to the East to mop up againt GK, i guess Alex sensed my weakness in the Western front. I had 4 defenders at the city and just whipped another longbow. Will history repeat?

Well, I don't know how to raise the quota, but maybe you should put the pictures in a external server like photobucket or imageshack. If you do that, the 30 MB will last for much more time...

1010AD: You wonder where I get my gold from to finance research and war, here it is. 1 turn after I got music from Cathy, it went to Nappy for 530 gold.

1010AD: Relations. I admire Cathy, she stood up to 4 thugs. I kinda have a soft spot for her seeing that. I am doing 1 on 3. Shaka decided to catch some fun and declared on me.

1010AD: I started a mop up campain to end the Greak GK. Start here, captured 4 workers.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

1020AD: Western Front again the Greeks. Another slaughter. But I lost 1 weaker longbow. Teo is doing its job again to fend off the strongest civ in the west while I mop up GK in the East.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

1050AD: MedicIII warload leading troops. I gave him morale and Leadership for extra movement and fast gaining exp.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

1080AD: I rushed some knights to Teo to help with the defense and killing the mounted pillagers. With stape and Theocracy + instructors + Charismatic, they come out with 3 promotions.

1080AD: GK's capital fell.

1080AD: Cathy trade. Can you believe that? Furious yet trade all these important techs with me!!! A tough women with an attitude! I like that.
I asked her to cease fire with JC to relieve her from some suffer. And I was ready to use JC to teach Shaka a lesson. JC is a great "tool" if you had cultivated relations with him.

1080AD: Traded paper to JC for him to cut off trades with Shaka. So Shaka can not use his land to invade me.

1080AD: Civic change to Slavery+Mec (use free priests in all cities to help with war/impromvement productions)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

1090AD: Resources trade summary. +40 GPT from other civs. 1 turn till Liberalism.

1090AD: Used Education+banking for JC's Gunpower + War with Shaka.
I consider that a good trade not for the raw beaker count by for it strategic value. Now everyone is involved in a serious war.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

1110AD: Got Nationalim from Free tech (won Liberalism). Rushing Taj in Capital.

1110AD: Ragnar stops war with Cathy and declares on me again. Let him come...

1110AD: Relations. I am doing 1 on 4.

1110AD: Fast healing example. Medic3 heals this 50% damaged mace in 1 turn!

1110AD: Fast moving Guerilla2 mace through enemy mountain terrains. So this line of promotion does have it use in certain situiations.

1110AD: What is that?! A level 7 Longbow? anyone dare to attack him on that hill is insaine like these AIs. I once saw this guy with a GG Infantry playing defensive role in a OCC game, this infantry ended up 200+ exp from all the mass killing. The trick is to buld a Super strong defender, with each attack, he will defend and lose minimum amt of health. The strong defender will suffer more collateral damage if he did not defend.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

1130AD: Rushing for Mil Trad for Cavs. Save an GE for thousands of years to rush West Point. Look at my highly promoted attack stack. I will say it again: Charismatic is way too overpowered against AIs

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

1140AD: Western front, a Combat3+Formation Knight against a Greek knight. 90%+ winning odds. Look at my brave workers are fixing up the land while piles of enemy units still in my land. The workers do get the great protection from those formation knights.

1140AD: Highly promoted defensive stack against 3 Civs. Formation knights dealing with pillaging knights, Longbows against everything else. 1 Medic2 Knight. My first time to fight 5 guys at the same time, but this situiation is special, I do not recommand fighting multiple foes at once. Without my Teo Fortress, It would have been impossible to do that.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

1150AD: Alex suffered huge casulty in my land, offered peace(gold payment to me) and went back to build mode. His power curve got trimmed.

1150AD: My forces sacked last city of GK. The end of the Great Kahn as we know it.

1150AD: Kill/Loss summary. I say the vast majority of those kills took place in my territory from fighting numerous civs. Still any doubter about the true power of the Great Wall?
