Crash Course World History

Don't tell anybody, but Nedim is secretly planning to take over Equatorial Guinea. By the way Nedim, did you get those guns yet?

Goddamn it JK, not on this forum.

@TK
If you want depressing histories....I say we do the Khmer Rouge. But if you want guano insane rulers I say we do an episode called "The nutjobs of Rome".

It is settled then, it will be "CFC explains: Clowns and Monsters, portrait of seven brutal African dictators" (its an actual book, Clowns and Monsters, and its about seven brutal African dictators)

I could write some stuff up about the Western tradition of music.

It'll probably not be 100% correct since I'm not that good a student, but I should be able to draw some general lines of importance.

So, basically, you're all proposing to write history articles? You know, add to that grand tradition?

Maybe I can use this as an excuse to revise some old ones of mine that I've become dissatisfied with (all of them).

I don't even remember writing some of mine lol.

But maybe I can pull that Ionian Revolt one back out from the back of the closet!

I think about writing something interesting about a historical musical case every once in a while, but then I recall that I'm not very important and shy away from it, afraid to be yelled at for being an idiot etc.

I was thinking something more multimedia, like who knows, a podcast or something. /has wanted to do one for quite a long time.

I'd like podcasts just to hear some of you guys' voices !

Two lines is an overstatement. :p

Maybe you could, y'know, finish your Gustavus Adolphus series... :p

That would probably end up turning into an encomium to Wallenstein, and nobody wants that.

I actually have been strongly thinking about revising my article on the Iranian campaigns of Eumenes and Antigonos. Coming into contact with a lot of extra scholarship on the issue - Hornblower, Anson, Billows - hasn't hurt.

Meh, dude was pretty baller. And at least it would be a relief from the thousands of Adolphus fellatings you normally see around civaradox.Org
