Creation or evolution threads never seem to have polls. So I decided to create one.

As for me, I don't know where mankind came from and I don't care either.

God created the natural world which of course had evolution as part of it. So I'm not sure if I should go with 'evolution' or 'other'

We needed a poll.

Your poll (and thread) sucks. The debate has been gone over 34534534 times, it is completely wrong in the first place, (As evolution has nothing to do with biogenesis), is a false dichotomy, especially since it does not offer a theistic evolution option (which would be true for a good amount of posters here), does not even *define* what "creation" is, et cetera.

This thread shouldn't have been made in the first place.

God created the earth 6000 years ago. Evolution is a pseudoscience accepted only because it helps employ new PhDs. It's the new clergy.

And I can prove you're right with a jar of peanut butter.

indeed, or a banana. (and I am now hungry for banana with peanutbutter smeared on it! The atheists ultimate nightmarefood!)

Radioactive monkey god is furious at this blasphemy and demands credit for his creation of the world.

Anyway, I believe in evolution over the literal creation story of being made on the 6th day etc.

Personally, if I were God, I think I would view evolution as being a singularly elegant means of creation.

I think it's clear from the options that it means Creationism in the sense that _is_ mutually exclusive evolution. Yes, creationism can be more loosely used to mean "God started the Universe, and then things happened according to science", but clearly that's not the definition being used here.

Theistic evolution would still be a subset of the evolution option.

Sure, it would be a fallacy to conclude from this poll that people don't believe God started the Universe, but I don't see anyone doing that.

As Bill said, this is an ancient topic and useless thread without enough options.

Evolution......................as God's design.

the thing that does warm my heart though is there are many people here dont find them mutually exclusive.

I believe God created the universe. What method he used is unknown to me.
