DaNES II: When the Stars Fall

Kal, you probably won't suffer any major revolts over the treaty, if that's what you're asking. ;)

I accidentally deleted all sent order sets for this turn while in the process of deleting extras. :cringe:

The Arkah (not Basileus or Arkat) of Armenia, agrees to the treaty on the contention that it is accepted by the Areian Basileus.

to: Chola
from: Pala
We repeat again our call for you to talk to us about a peace between us.

To Pala, From Chola
I didn't see the first one..
We should talk peace, our neighbors are profiting greatly from our troubles, and we are only weakening one another.

1500 talents it is, but we insist on the terms regarding the Hellenoarabic poleis. Please append your signature to this treaty.

We apologise for our various errors of form regarding the Armenian Arkah's title.

Revised Treaty of Artemita

The Seleukids cede to Armenia the northern part of the territory currently occupied by Armenian forces (See the map that Armenia just posted).

The Seleukid Basileus pays the Areian Basileus 1500 talents.

The Seleukid Basileus pays the Armenian Arkah 500 talents.

The Seleukids are to recognise Areian rights to Susiane, Persis, and Karmania.

The Seleukids cede to Areia, as shown on the map, the Eastern bank of the Tigris as far South as Artemita, including Artemita; the Seleukids also cede the coastal areas of Susiane that they rule to Areia. (See the map that Armenia just posted.)

The Seleukids will not pay the Hellenoarabic poleis along the Persian Gulf to attack Areian or Patalan shipping.

The Seleukids will not try to assert any form of sovereignty over these said Hellenoarabic poleis.

Signed Basileus Platon of Areia

The upcoming turn will be 616-620.

Signed Haroutyoun I, Arkah of Armenia, of the house Hayasdanits.

Legit, Dachs?

Orders will be in as soon as I stop vomiting from the words Glenn Beck has screamed out of my tv.

OOC: Nooooo, I can't wait a whole week for an update....

We are very glad to have peace. May it last for a long time!

OOC: Kal'thzar, what's happened to Nikandros?

How do you know that? He'll only have been ruling for twenty years by the end of next turn. He was "energetic" in the first update, and Sophocles lived until he was ninety. :)

Signed Haroutyoun I, Arkah of Armenia, of the house Hayasdanits.

Legit, Dachs?
Hayasdanits just means 'of Armenia', and it's generally applied to any and every Armenian royal.
