Darknes: The Darkest Hour

Is he the person in one of your nes (as yuan china) whose country got taken apart..?

Generally yes, he also played Australia in GoobNES1 (and got anthraxed by Stormbringer, don't remember why). But he was quite new back then.

LittleBoots - excellent.

It is with many apologies that I have decided I'm going to have to change to a Serbian field marshal, under Strategos.

The main reason being that one of my posts identifying the speaker in Strategos' post confused some Allies who thought I was confirming Serbia and then sent me strategic information I could not, in good conscience, use against them.

I realize we Austrians each discussed strengths and weaknesses, but, aside from (very, very sadly) my analysis of a proposed Serbian campaign (of all things) I have no knowledge of any Austrian plans.

EDIT: I might take CiC of some other Allied nation, I'll let you know ASAP.

Bah. I shall decide when I get back from class in about 2 hours.

Terribly sorry about that, LittleBoots; I really should've read Strategos' post before sending the PM.

Don't worry about it. I act noble switching sides, but if I was really noble, I would have resisted reading it ;) I think I'll take Romania, which, while not officially an Entente ally in our weirdo timeline, will be shortly afterwards, especially with Bulgaria and the Ottomans already rolling.

Therefore, just to be sure our busy Mod sees it: I claim Romania!

CiC Name: Ion Antonescu

Just confirming that I am Radomir Putnik C-i-C of Serbia. Sorry for any confusion that my previous story post may or may not have caused.

Das, I respectfully demand you clear up some PM space :p

Can whoever sent me pms resend? my pm box was full... sry!

Also, can i get a reconfirmation from Lightfang and fantasmo that they're still playing? (in the form fo a pm where hopefully you will include where you want to fight as well, unless you intend for me to decide that for you)

Symphony, can you send me and the other members of our team what are responsibilities are? I would like to begin planning by this weekend what are goals are since school will be getting in the way next week.

I can't really plan much without stats, so... I can send you the information whenever those are available. And haha, now those lies of modesty shall come in enormously useful! Bwahahaha! ;)

ummm...can my allies talk to me so i have somewhere to go here, and perhaps if no one joins ottomans, should i just take command of any front i want

Argh. Stats are pretty much up-to-date (expect for all that mess I'm about to sort out). The mobilization stats will be finished out by tomorrow, but you can pretty much guess about how far you are from the timeline (Germany and France are fully, Russia and Austria-Hungary are about 50 %, and Great Britian and Ottomans are just beginning.) I'm ironing out the problems with the story, but every thing pretty much follows RL except for the dates.

I am very proud of my failings, and am slightly less insane now than I was then, so I hope I won't be as generally terrible.

I mean what fronts will me and Iggy be placed on?

I just noticed on the front page that Montenegro is labeled as neutral. Montenegro should be an allied country now as it declared war on the Austria on the 7th of August 1914 and Germany on the 9th. In this splinter timeline, I suppose they may not, but I can't see a reason not to, they had very close ties to Serbia and indeed fought under Serbian officers. Indeed, the monarch of Montenegro is the father-in-law of Serbia's king, and the Serbian heir and regent, Prince Alexander I was born in Montenegro. If you ask the opinion of a very biased Serbian C-i-C, they should be collapsed under the military umbrella of Serbia (as I suspect they were meant to be in the original map as evidenced by them sharing the exact same color).
