There are power disparities between the US and its allies. The US doesn’t use its NATO allies as de facto resource colonies
Canada, Australia and the UK are resource colonies for American film and television actors. You can't swing a dead cat in L.A. without hitting a Canadian actor.

It looks virtually certain that the world is moving towards (at least) two superblocks, and the one that will have China and Russia already controls a planet-sized territory.
US... has to send stuff oceans away, which doesn't seem to be sustainable for much longer.

Two thirds of Earths surface is covered with water, hence whoever controls the largest oceans, controls world trade. That would be the United States.

The British Navy and merchant fleet essentially made Great Britain the dominant superpower for more than 300 years for the exact same reasons.

I miss a third option ''the Ukrainian war has increased US standing" at least in Europe,

NATO was dead in the water, 5 successive US presidents couldn't bring us to spend 2% on defence, the Cold War was over, we won, no need for that.

Now it's back. Looks set to further expand too, unthinkable just a few years ago.

While their expeditions in Iraq and Afghanistan were seriously misguided and doomed to fail, the predictions in regard to the Russian invasion in Ukraine were very accurate, they've shown to be better informed than the Russians themselves, who turned out to be utterly useless.

The US has redeemed itself if you will :)

"Redeemed" isn't the word. It did manage to force-sell weapons massively to Eu countries again, though. Such as F-35. Probably will unload a lot of F-16 to eastern european token armies too.
The US military-industrial complex must be ecstatic.

They look like the winner yes - EU + Russia will become comparably weaker compared the US and China, reminiscent of history when conflict between France, Britain and Germany allowed SU + US to establish themselves as superpowers.

Still the economic consequences of the conflict should not be overestimated, the impact is expected to be minimal compared to Covid for example.

It is not just US companies that profit either - in 2020 we exported for 50 million worth of arms here, we expect that figure to rise substantially in 2022 obviously.

The shares of German arms company Rheinmetall alone increased by around 40 percent, reaching record highs. Germany’s announcement also benefits other German defense companies such as Heckler & Koch, Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, and Diehl.

Time to invest some Greek money perhaps - war is always profitable :)
