Does "Interstellar Migration of Human race" mean that we were migrated by ancient aliens, we are being migrated secretly, or we will eventually migrate? Cause given the absurdity of some of the other options, any one of these could be on the list.

It could have a couple of different meanings. There are some science fiction theories that Earth is a splinter-colony of a much older galactic civilization but has forgotten its past. This is unlikely because we already know the descent of man through evolution. The other meaning is that one day the human race will migrate to outer space and beyond.

THIS JUST IN!!!

I just received this message on my tinfoil hat:

Do not answer this poll, Ziggy is in league with the aliens and they are storing this data in order to analyze how likely it is they will be believed when they "Come in Peace"...

Is that man holding a video camera or a rocket launcher?

Is it both?

Will we fight back against the aliens with explosive tapes of Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian?

You've got me sold, if so.

Wait, I forgot to select Theory of Gravity?! :suicide:

The only one I was conflicted about were the alien lifeforms. I left it out because it's one of those things that I want at least some evidence for instead of just relying on the "universe is so big that there must be some" argument. And that being said, I'm skeptical that life is necessarily dependent on water or that it is composed of carbon.

Big Bang Theory
Everything starts out new (has a beginning) Seems big bang would explain what evolution can not. I think banging into things is catastrophic, but an explosion that started it all, takes just as much faith as creation does. It is just another way of saying things have a beginning.

Love after love
Yes

Am I reading "love after love" correctly inasfar as it roughly means, "love yourself first then love others?"

I don't know. The poem is a bit of a puzzle. It seems to saying that after having loved others, you finally come to love yourself. But this may not be a valid reading. Because the mystical nature of the writer might lead one to suppose he sees others as really himself. It's a complex poem.

I don't do poetry.

But I'll happily have it explained to me.

Young Earth Creationism
I think the earth was young when it started out, most things are.

That's really not saying anything at all.

The implication of the young there is that it's still young. Being only 6000 yrs old. As opposed to the much older 4.5 billion year old one.

Is that from interpretation or literal meaning?

Yes. I understand that question. I didn't understand tim's question. In relation to the word young, of "young earth creationist".

I am pretty sure the question is simply "do you believe that the earth was created several thousand years ago, or do you not."

Seth was born 6,000 or so years ago, and I cannot state for sure when the earth was fomed from the first few chapters in Genesis. Therefore it seems to be an interpretation and not a literal reading. Hence my response to Arakhor that it is not really saying anything at all.
