Dogs are too insecure and needy as well as physically inferior (a cat sized dog can barely jump onto a chair let alone scale a fence in a second flat).
it's not really fair to make a remark about physical inferiority if you only take one specific ability into the question.
for example on longer distances dogs are usually faster than cats as well as having a much better endurance, furthermore they have a muuuuuch better nose than cats. doesn't make them physically superior, they just specialize on a different field.

oh, and a non-psychotic dog certainly isn't insecure :)

Cats, without a doubt. I've nothing against dogs, mind you, but compared to cats they are simply outclassed at every level.

I am a dog person. you can teach them tricks!

Cats are cool, confident and competent customers, cruising around in whatever fashion pleases them. Respect! :yup:

Dogs are dumb, dribbling, dependant and pathetic excuses for creatures. No respect. :nope:

(I actually grew up with 4 dogs)

I've always had crabs, but I'd advise against sharing this kind of info in public company too much.

I like cats, and cats like me. It is far more fitting in the classic profile of the villain than a bloodhound. Dogs have owners. Cats have staff.

However, my first preference is a miniature giant space hamster.

I like both. But I'm more a dog person. Dogs are more likely to be friendly to you, whereas with a cat you have a greater chance of it avoiding you in cold hatred.

I like both. Cats or dogs, both are good.

I own cats. I live in an apartment and being gone 12-14 hours there is NO way I could own a dog. Besides, cats are fine when you go out of town, even on long weekends.

I love dogs to though, just not those cute little worthless fluffy furball kind, LOL

I like both. But dogs don't fit well into apartments.

Cats, because of their tendency to sit in sinks.

Edwin Odesseiron will be disappointed to hear that.

I hold a bit of a grudge againt dogs, after having been bitten once.

Well I can't get a bigger apartment. This is my parent's place, and besides bougies are invading the LES and making rents skyrocket.
And even if I had a smaller dog, it wouldn't really be fair to it. Dogs need lots of walking and lots of run space and time, which a dog in my place wouldn't be able to get. It'd just be cooped up and cramped all the time, I don't think it'd be fair. (I USED QUOTE TAGS, did it work?)

You know what? I totally agree with you.

Yes!

Both, until an accident took away one kitten's life.

I prefer dogs now, which IMO acts a little bit smarter than cats.
