When China becomes a superpower, i hope they lose their communist nonsense behind and become more liberal democratic. Otherwise, they are an ok nation. I don't see anything to rave about, except perhaps their interesting history and beautiful scenery in some places.

Mostly seconded, but I'd like to add "dissent-crushing, torturing, oppressive government" while noting that it is rapidly leaving communism or even statism behind, and Microsoft is on record as stating that they would prefer the Chinese to pirate MS-ware than to use free, legal alternatives, so I can't really fault the Chinese for that. I pity them, though.
Also, I like hearing about the miracles. Christianity isn't taken for granted by half the population, and the population as a whole is much larger, so there are more burning hearts there who perform miracles.
I don't know enough to give an informed opinion. My guess is that the Chinese are the same as people all over the world.
My opinion of their government is very low. It sucks. My opinion of the people is rather neutral, though - I think in general, people are people, and the average Chinese is probably no worse than the average American or Brazilian. Their food, or rather the stereotypical American version of their food, is good too.

Personally, I think China should do what Cuba did and seize all American assets. Sure, its one big foot in America's ass but its also one big foot in the big corporations that run America. Id be able to enjoy America if it wasn't for those big corporations that rly run the show. Like Walmart. Damn you Walmart!!!

We live in a global economy. The US could do better without Chinese business than China could without US business. Stop being ridiculous, the Chinese government isn't stupid enough to try and freeze our assets.

Well, seeing as how im not chinese I can honestly say I really, really dont give a crap!
Besides. it would probably hurt the US alot more then it would hurt China if the nations cut off trade and what not.
