hehe, landed in France, they lost 5 units, founded city, they lost 94 (!) units for 6 of ours and we got a leader out of it!!! Razed Paris and Poitiers :D
I guess we can call this "beachhead established successfully, Sir!" :D

sadly, we fell into anarchy by now :( but we are having a wrold war, so no problem, everyone else goes commie, too.

Japan declared war :( complete change of strategy necessary here :(
 
I will go for monarchy anytime over commies. Thats what I have learn through all the LK succession games. :D

If we manage to finish off Zulu then Japan should not be a problem to handle. Just use that stack of Cavalry as sacrificial lambs for Japanese attack until we can get some units home. ;)
 
hehe, the units are home - it takes one turn only, and Japan is already bleeding :D razed some towns :D

Monarchy might bw a good idea, maybe we shoudl do the maths...

Zulus are out of reach, one city behind Russia, but i guess Cathy will kill them soon, though she has seriuos trouble with Greece...
 
Hehe, the Chinks also rezed a Jap town :D And now, we come to the point where I start keeping the towns so the next one will only be one turns move away..... they lack bombers it seems.....

hehe.. sounds like fun. I would go with Republic over everything else myself. Though Monarchy this late probably won't matter as we have nothing left to research :)

Unit Production is changed to Mech Inf almost everywhere, plan being to land the Northern Assault Group (NAG) from near Berlin on the French coast, establish a city there, then rush the airport and fly in Mech Inf. The French will bleed themselves against this, especially as Bombers will cut roads just outside the city radius. Then, the Mod Armour can chew them up.

Airports are rushed in Zululand, to be able to fly more units into our stronghold New Zunguin.

Southern Assault Group's (SAG) Modern Armour is airlifted to New Zimbabwe. Plan: Take the five towns reachable in 1 turns form the front and the circle of towns surrounding New Zunguin in one turn. This will break Zululnads back. They will be reduced to two major towns, Zimbabwe and Mpondo, the rest are fillers. Will ask for their two towns in the east for peace. If they do not agree, three more turns should kill them off.

NAG boards Transports, 1 or two more turns and it is ready to set sail! SAG Armor and some Cav arrives in New Zunguin, also, our Stealth Bomber force is rebased there. Zulu will die quickly. :D

1786 AD - Only two defenders in New Isandhlwana :mwaha: Amitalku coist us 3 MA, but then falls. New Hlobane costs us 1 MA. St. Regs gets beaten up by Rad Arty and falls with no losses to us!
Decision time: do I mop up the Zulu units in the open or do i ignore them and push for more cities? I decide on the cities.

Intombe has loads of defenders, and two of them are RAMBOs :( it ends up being 1 for 1, so that's acceptable :D
Tyendenaga falls, too. Then New Bapedi.
I missmoved a stack of Mod Armor, they are now used to wipe up Zulus in the open. New Unundi - need I do more than name the city? No losses. New Ngome - two MA lost, Cav(!) takes the city.
I expose a huge stack of workers to complete a rail towards Ulundi so the remaining MA can reach New intombe that turn. I want it to make the Zulu concentrate counterattack there, and not somewhere else. It falls with two MA lost.
Our elite Cavalries capture a bunch of workers, they are all set out in Zulu territory to act as diversions / speed bumps. New Intombe is not reinfoced in any way so it will draw the counterattack.

1788 AD - miracuosly, the Zulu squander their three Mod Armor on lost fights. Well, good for us!
Our Mod Armour Armies beat Zibmbabawe to rubble. Shaka had stacked 11 Mech Inf there!!!!!
some more towns taken, will try to get Mpondo next, then give them peace at a high price. Usefull Zulu cities left? NONE :whaha::mwaha::mwaha:
 
1790 AD - they take undefended St. Regis back - oh well....
despite 60% lux lotsa unhappiness. ****in' peacnicks! The Regis thing is rightened, then I try to contact Shaka. He refuses - what an idiot! Especially, since now Japan and Babylon both want a piece of him.... Smelled the blood in the water rather late this time..... Mpondo falls as expected. Just to show Shaka who the boss is, we take Bapedi.

the invasion fleet approaches the French coast only to find the selected landing square protected by a Rifleman. Marines are ordered produced, to take car of that next turn :D Luckily, France is so close we can ship the Marines and attack the same tunr :D
The French get pissed and want our troops gone..... I agree (but not for long ;)). Greece chews up Egypt - I don't really like that :( Must see to grab up as much of the remains as possible.....

1794 AD - troops landed in France w/o problem. Will let them make the first attack (so their MPP doesn't kick in), then found the city - just to keep Babylon out of it as long as possible. Won't help much, but, well....
the quiet before the storm... every town producing a unit keeps it so they all can be airlifted when the beachhead city is established.

Declared war on France when they wanted us to move out. They attack with 11 Mech Inf, loose all, but 3 figths are real tigh.... They seems to have some breath left, at least they let themselves be bought into Egypts war with China.

Poitiers and Paris taken - and abandoned (needed Paris to get at Poitiers, then it got too far for the Mod Arm :( )

1798 AD - troops flown to normandy and New Ephesus. Will take that entire island and then try to press Hamm to peace. Small French town next to Normandy razed, now, our cultural borders expand far enough that the French cannot attack from their territory :D

Using Bombers to cut roads between Orleans and rest of French empire, can then take & hold the city. Paris (refounded) is also cut off.

1800 AD - Japan and France ally against Egypt. They have landed "serious" Forces on the Bab island - they will die soon :D They loose another 10 units against Normandy - must be drafting like hell :D

Decision time: Who is our main enemy? Japan! So i will try to end the war with France, then move all the units from there back via ship and throw them @ Japan. Japanese towns taken will all be razed to estabish a dead zone they can't cross too wuickly to get at us, except for one path into their Reich.

1802 AD - Tarsus taken from the Japs.
getting angry here, the Japs attack fortified elite Mech. Inf. in size 26 town with elite Mod Arm and win, I loose 8(!) attacking regular mech Inf!
Paris is destroyed, the small Bab island taken - still they won't talk to us. Zulu have a small town behind Russia. I give Russia lots of money + Ivory so they go to war with them. Armies from Zulunad flown back home - Die, Japan!

1804 AD - beat up 15 Japanese tanks and Mod Arm + a Mod Arm army that invaded our land. What ****ers, they tried to beeline for whereever and ended up going through our tightest area of cities at the border DOH!
Fukushima, New Yokohama and Echigo destroyed, Guhlaman taken. Another Japanese Army of modern Armour (this one at half strength) is destroyed along with Neo Tokyo.

General Situation: Anarchy will be over next turn, so please check all cities (I let them all do as they pleased since I didn't know what the situation would be after anarchy.

The transports are all between us and France, maybe you could throw them east, load them up with mech Inf and a settler and land in babylon???? Found a town south of Ashur, then let them bleed themselves against it (24 mech Inf should do), then push in towards Babylon itself..... Jsut an idea from a very mean mind :D

The troops in the conquered Roman territories should suffice atm, but on the other hadn if we go Rep/Mon we might also try to take some of Russia and all of Egypt..... That would leave Greece and Babylon and China, and if we then eradicte the mainland China part we should be close to domination....

Its ok to go beyond 10 turns. The main reason for 10 turns is the turns get long and it can be taxing if pushing for too many turns.

Of course, if the turns is fun like what happen now....its a different story. ;)

lol.. sounds like a blast killer.. though one trick to use against MPPed nations.. use a spy mission that has a high chance of failing. Since they declared war on you you take as many of there cities as we like :) oh and to just be a total war monger.. get a MPP with the nation they are MPPed with and when they counter attack the first city we capture.. guess what.. MUHAHAHHA

1808AD(1) - The Anarchy has ended and Dark Sheer is crowned as the new emperor of Prussia. Signed Peace Treaty with Babylon. New Kyoto captured and a Great Leader appears! Our armies take a round of R&R to prepare for the next round of assault on Japan. Greece & France alliance against China. Micro managed every city. :p
1810AD(2) - Ise captured and another Great Leader appeared. Dropped Lux rate to 40% for a +ve cash flow. Buffalo captured. Babylon declare war on us again for bombarding France. New Frontier founded. Agent established in both France and Babylon. China & France signed Peace Treaty. Greek razed Krasnoyask. Chinese captured Nara.
1814AD(3) - Izumi captured with 3 Radar Artillery. Our battleship accidentally ran into an enemy submarine and sink it. :lol: Satsuma captured with 1 RA. Sapporo captured with another RA.

1814AD(4) - Zulu & Egypt embargo against us. China & Babylon signed Peace Treaty. Suo captured. Nagoya captured. Kagoshima captured. Spiceland founded. Egypt & Greek signed Peace Treaty. France & China alliance against Japan. Russia & Japan alliance against us.
1816AD(5) - Bizen liberated. Lyons liberated. Toyama captured. Our Radar Artillery move into position and ready to Bombard Kyoto next turn. Zulu & Russian signed Peace Treaty. Babylon & China alliance against Greek. Russia & Japan alliance against Egypt.
1818AD(6) - Kyoto captured which cost us 1 Army!! :mad: (A full strenght 56hp Army lost to a half strenght Mech Inf but subsequently our 3 MA took out 3 Mech Inf at no losses :confused: ). Staging point founded. Maikop captured. Signed Peace Treaty with Zulu. Our Modern Armor is in position and ready to Rush Tokyo and Osaka next turn. Zulu & Russian embargo against us. China captured Toyko. :o
1820AD(7) - Osaka captured with Colossus. Edo captured. Omi captured and Japan is out of the continent. :cool: China & Russia signed Peace Treaty. Babylon & Russia signed Peace Treaty. Babylon & China alliance aganist Zulu.
1822AD(8) - Quiet on all fronts. Time to fly in fresh troops to Lyons and also Russian Front. ;)
1824AD(9) - Poitiers captured. More troop movements.
1826AD(10) - Brundisium captured. Edfu captured. Cairo captured. Avignon captured. Rouen captured. Agent is now established in every Civ.

We should be able to capture another French town next turn and that will give us Silk! ;) Have fun, D9pheonix! Statistic says we need another 2233 tiles for domination. So lets mob up France! There are plenty of units at the Russian front to play with as well. :D
