The city of Gemini is caught in the grips of corporations and various secret service agencies. The natives of the small island city-state are fiercely protective of their independence, but the Americans, British, Russians, French, Japanese, Chinese and Germans - among many other lands - have a vested interest in the island city. Mobs and crime barons rule the thriving underworld trade, and the mysterious figure known as "The Raven" constantly manages to crush their schemes and plots.

But the Raven has violated many laws - and now a team is being assembled by the citystate's government to bring him to justice, then deal with the streets - and anyone attempting to shatter Gemini's independence.

Willpower affects your ability to resist effects like seduction, mind control, sleep, stunning and the like. Higher Willpower also gives you a chance to fight on after taking max damage, being unwilling to die.

Awareness affects your ability to detect traps and hidden hostiles.

Stealth affects your ability to remain hidden from sight and hearing, to slip past cameras and to hide objects on your person.

Gary Quark is here! He had enlisted in the City-states navy, but he began to realize something was wrong, as a combination of factors caused crime to skyrocket. A man fiercely loyal to his city-state, he would do anything to protect it, and protect everything he loves! However, the man, while intelligent and good in short-range combat, is hopeless in terms of dexterity; He has no co-ordination! Having a strong, loyal man on the team will (hopefully) help the government to face its problems and defeat them.

Bio: A miracle occurred this year. After years of humiliation and never winning, the Buffalo Sabers have not only made it to the playoffs, but had miraculously inched their way to the Stanley Cup by beating the Detroit Red Wings in a seven game series. The success of the club was crediting to the drafting of the enforcer William Miller. Hailing from Thunder Bay, Ontario, he was drafted by Buffalo under the number 64 to be the new enforcer, and his skill through the art of fighting and injuring the other team had brought great success.

Will celebrated his success by taking a nice vacation into the city-state of Gemini with his one day with the Stanley Cup. He met with the two hockey fans on the island, promoted the sport and the team, and brought the Stanley Cup to all the monuments for pictures. It was a glorious day, that is, until he got back to his hotel. Planning on sending it to the next player, he left it on his bed as he used the bathroom. After 10 minutes on the toilet, he came back to see the window smashed and the trophy gone. Instead, there was a note. It read:

Nice Stanley Cup you got there. It's mine now

Will tore up the note in anger, donned his gear, and set out. He must get the Stanley Cup back, even if it means killing everyone on this island
 
Name: Gajadhar Iraja
Biography: A descendant of the famous Rajouts of India, Iraja spent his entire life training in the arts that define a successful Rajput Warrior; stealth, agility, physical prowess. When he was in his prime, he was feared throughout the subcontinent.
Unfortunately, 'in his prime' was around the time India gained independence; he has since regressed quite a bit, and thought he is now quite senile, he has retained enough of his skills to remain a threat. He has recently decided to travel to Gemini, so as to help them retain their independence.

Background: The product of a broken home, young David Zimmerman spent the majority of his youth out in the streets of the German part of Gemini. Unfortunately for David, his small stature and timidness made him a natural target for bullies and thugs. It was thus that Zimmerman learned two very important skills: how to hide, and how to run faster than a bat out of hell. His time on the streets also honed in a keen awareness of his surroundings, letting him gain the upper hand on any of his would be assailants. Soon, he had earned the nickname "Mouse", due to his stature, timidness, and reputation for evasion.

Whenever he found himself with time alone, he would indulge in his favorite pastime: tinkering with explosives and pyrotechnics. From an early age, he was fascinated by the spiraling lights and colors that would fill the harbor air during festivals. As he reached adolescence, how soon found that these beautiful lights had other applications. Many a muffler of his tormentors would be found ripped open, their cars and motorbikes mangled messes. As the years passed, bottle rockets gave way to thermite, and so on, until the Mouse's timidness gave way to loathing and deception.

Zimmerman was kicked out of high school at age 16, after a nasty incident left one other student scarred. He soon fell in with the Eisen-Claws, a German-Gemini gang, about a year afterwards. It was here that his talents truly began to shine. The Eisen-Claws needed a man who was not only handy with explosives, but also handy at not getting caught. With no other options available, Zimmerman accepted. He soon became a valuable asset to the gang. David would sneak into wherever the gang was targeting, plant the charges, and BOOM!, the guards/enforcers would come running in one direction, letting his comrades ransack the unguarded areas. For his efforts, Zimmerman gained a place to stay, regular meals, and a wallet full of cash. Things were looking pretty good, at least until that one day.

It was a fairly routine grab; blow a good sized charge, slip past the guards, meet up with the gang and sail off a little bit richer. However, on his way to rendezvous point, Zimmerman was ambushed by some nutjob vigilante. Zimmerman was barely able to get away from this madman, only to come to the rendezvous point and see his former comrades leaving without him. The next thing he knows, his face is on the ground, with an officer reading him his rights.

David's life therefore became very monotonous inside the concrete walls, at least until a couple of weeks ago. A government official showed up, with an interesting tidbit: it turns out that the man who had attacked him that night two years ago was none other that "The Raven", the now notorious vigilante who has been causing trouble for criminals and police in Gemini. As one of the few people who were able to escape the Raven with their limbs still functional, the official gave Zimmerman an offer: in exchange for hunting down and stopping the Raven, Gemini would not only wave his sentence and expunge the record, they would also allow him to help take down the remaining members of the Eisen-Claws. This was an offer Zimmerman would have to had been a fool to refuse.

Biography: Gormley is a native of Gemini, and fiercely believes in its independence. When he was a teenager, many of his friends, including his best friend, Daniel Atkins, were killed by American mobsters in the city. Since then, he's been committed to ending foreign presence in the city.

Bio: Having been born in Britain, Fiona Blackspire (known to her freinds as 'Fi') has always had a craving for excitement. Rather than staying at home for an ordinary choice of Domestic Universities, she opted to study Chinese; in China! Since then her inability to stay in an ordinary job has dragged her around the world, picking up miscellanious skills along the way, until she finally arrived on the Island of Gemini. Bio: She grew up in the dashing shadows of New York city, hoping from dark place to dark place. She quickly discovered a slew of talents for theft, mugging, hiding, and stabbing.

The infamous New York Yakuza quickly noticed her rise and offered her the chance to join them. Tanya quickly accepted as a way to get out of the orphanage. For four years, she served the Yakuza as an infiltrator of prisons and government facilities, often targeting documents instead of people. All that changed when the Yakuza dispatched her to Gemini to enter the offices of a corporation coming close to buying out Ying Hu Chi'an's Sushi, a front for the Yakuza in Gemini, and retrieve their business records. A crazed man wearing a stupid uniform got there first, and attacked her when she arrived. Such was his skill that she was knocked unconscious in the battle, and awakened to a fat cop reading her Miranda rights while doughnut crumbs fell from his lips.

Some legal wrangling from the Yakuza's lawyers regarding the technicalities of the interference of the vigilante called "The Raven" has gotten her out of prison. Now dishonored, the Yakuza has given her one more mission before she can return to New York: Kill the Raven.

In all seriousness, this is one of the best pieces of news I have heard in ages. Rock on LH, rock on.

The Raven first appeared 2 years ago, at a party Hosted by William Montagne. After Will had ducked out to 'meet a client' a group of mobsters entered to try and find him. The Raven appeared seemingly from nowhere to beat them down.

William Montagne is also a known martial artist, who has a dojo, and there is a story of him defeating at least six bandits (in a conservative retelling, other versions have 12 or more) in Somalia whilst he was there.

Not to mention that his parents were both killed in front of Him by mobsters, After backing out of a Deal with Belliums parents. (Known mobsters...)

Take from that what you will, but I think the motto is fairly clear. ;) He's the gosh dang Batman!!!
