Called itTomorrow, Trump's campaign is going to cry that the moderators/network was biased to try and explain this blowout loss.

It's easier to watch something US-politics-related when the presenter looks like this. Anyway she wasn't happy with the journalists in the debate.
By now I think Charlize Theron wasn't good-looking enough to play her![]()
Donald Trump's comment that he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin after leaving the White House has prompted social media users to accuse him of violating the Logan Act that prohibits private citizens from negotiating with foreign governments.
"That is a war that's dying to be settled. I will get it settled before I even become president, if I win, when I'm president-elect, and what I'll do is I'll speak to one. I'll speak to the other. I'll get them together," Trump said during the heated debate in Philadelphia.
https://www.newsweek.com/russia-trump-logan-act-harris-debate-vladmiri-putin-1951875"Saying 'if I'm president-elect, I'll get it done (peace in Israel) before I'm even inaugurated' is a confession to a federal crime under the Logan Act," wrote Joyce Vance, a former U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Alabama.
Trump and his enablers have never cared about what is legal or illegal. And SCOTUS ahs conformed, that Trump has immunity from committing illegal acts.Well, that's illegal
I would be amazed if none of them ever met with some foreign head of state before the official inauguration, that legal folks now have to quibble on this point.I find the view that a president-elect is just a private citizen quite hilarious.
Besides which the United States is not a party to the war between Russia and Ukraine,
so negotiating an end to that war is not necessarily negotiating for the USA.
Of more relevance to that Act would be the reported business of Ronald
Reagan indicating he didn't want Iran to release the hostages too soon.
OMG, I forgot about that. He did say that. That was a disgraceful thing to say on national television and just goes to show how little respect he has for the office of POTUS or America's global reputation. His wannabe Mobster attitude on full display.Bigger than Logan Act violations, for me, was that he admitted to threatening some world leader (we'll call him Abdul) by intimating that our military would target him and his family specifically.

Yes. In formal settings like on the news or on TV, it is done as a sign of respect for the office. Once a person has been elected President, they are spoken of as "President" and addressed as "Mr. (hopefully soon MadamIs it normal over there to adress a former president as Mr. President ?
Taylor Swift's Instagram post from last night.
Donald Trump’s debate fail appears to have short-circuited the brain of one of his biggest cheerleaders. Elon Musk remained silent while Trump was blowing his first debate with Kamala Harris but issued a bizarre response to Taylor Swift endorsing Harris at the end of the night. The music megastar signed off her endorsement, “With love and hope, Taylor Swift, Childless Cat Lady.” Musk, a father of 12, broke his debate night silence with an apparent offer to impregnate Swift. “Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.” The normally hyperactive Musk subsequently retweeted a false claim about the ABC moderators’ fact checks during the debate, then posted a more thorough explanation of his thoughts. “While I don’t think the debate hosts were fair to @realDonaldTrump, @KamalaHarris exceeded most people’s expectations tonight,” Musk wrote. “That said, when it comes to getting things done, not just saying nice-sounding words, I strongly believe that Trump will do a far better job. After all, if Kamala can do great things, why hasn’t she? Biden rarely shows up for work, so she’s basically in charge already. The question comes down to this: do you want current trends to continue for 4 more years or do you want change?”
HuffPost generally is pretty succinct compared to other news sourcesThe Polish media that my mom consumes claims that Trump won the debate. I don't trust them though, but where can I read about an unbiased analysis of the debate that summarizes everything in in less than 2 sentences?
The markets decided Harris won.I personally feel that it doesn’t matter who won the debate since is just going to be boiled down to one’s opinion. Republican leaning sources will state Trump won the debate and Democratic leaning sources will state Harris won the debate. For instance; David Packman would make a statement that Harris won while Tim Pool would make a statement that Trump “PWNED” Harris in the debate.
I've avoided using this term until now... but that's effing weird.![]()
