ENES: Abandoned Stars

@Erik: Thanks for the clarifications, that makes perfect sense (and should reduce a lot of the need for conditional orders). So Orders Sent! :)

That's your start. You will probably want to explore it.

Fixxored.

The two available branches opened from Medicinal Biotech are essentially the study of causing and the study of preventing diseases and plagues.
Rapid Communication is on the Societal Rediscoveries tree, and the next tech in line fits nicely with your faction, too - it concerns the (re-)development of mass planetwide information networking. (Think ubiquitous cellphones mixed with Teh Intarwebs here.)

Hmm, noticed I left a dotted yellow line on the image. Ignore it. I'm too lazy to reupload. Will go and play abandonware now. :p

One, maybe two.

Orders are trickling in and I've already updated bits of the galaxy. It's surprising how few - or should I say "how many", given that everyone was originally allied - factions have given shoot-on-sight orders as opposed to try-peaceful-negotiation-then-retreat.

This is going to be a very interesting first turn.

Ceasefire, anyone?

Upgrades are automatic for the sake of simplicity.

Popguns aren't that sucky, not when hulls are equally sucky. ;)

Of course, there's always the option of meeting in an asteroid field as "neutral ground" and then pushing the other ship into an asteroid, not to mention asking for face-to-face contact and bringing a boarding party, and all sorts of treacherous strategies...

But you wouldn't do that to your fellow humans, would you? :mischief:

hmm, Wasn't expecting to meet anyont this turn. but if any of their ships enter my home system, BLAST THEM!!. but if it's the scouts, I don't have much choice. no weapons. Next turn though ^_^

(You forgot Internal Desention Erik!)

Now I'm starting to get paranoid....

Orders volleys one and two fired and on target.

Wait, why is everyone so trigger-happy? Not that my faction is keen on strong friendships either...

I think Erik thought we were boringly friendly in our orders and is now trying to make us a bit more paranoid... ;)

What kind of fool would start a war with such a puny fleet anyway?
