The Plague Moves West...
Vlakan
The Vlakan finally beat their rival tribe after years of diplomatic stalemate for control over the Vlakan tribes. After a series of arranged marriages and show of military might the other tribes quickly allied with the Vlakan to defeat the rival tribe of Vladan. After a crushing defeat by the hands of this alliance they submitted and surrendered. Now the nation united under one chief now Empire of the Vlakan.
A unified power grew under the leadership of the Vlakan and now they have the power to extend their reach south. The settlement of Vlakat is founded in the south of their most southern reaches. They begin to hungrily eye the small city-states of Kalnos and Valnos.
(+10,000 people, - 1000 infantry, -150 cavalry, -500 Vadaron)
New Teraden
This isolated settlement out in the middle of nowhere has finally developed and grown into a city-state to recognize. The people begin to rebuild from the terrors of their past and create a new religion. A unique religion in that the people believe that the gods spared them from complete destruction for a reason. The religion is a mix of several of the cultures they have seen during their long migration. There is believed to be 3 gods each with equal power and balance within this world. Details on the religion are sketchy but these people will most likely bring this religion to light in the upcoming years.
Nearby tribes are subjugated and forced to convert to Trigonalism as the religion is known. Several fortifications are built around the capital turning it into a fortress with complete control over the plains surrounding it. New Teraden a nation reborn.
Bhatotist Crusades?
Corenwal in all its chaos ceases to exist. It collapses into chaos and is intergrated into the Holy Bhatotist Empire of Neptanian. Then some major changes begin to take place.
The religious leaders within Neptanian organized into a council electing a man called the Grand Master who will lead the nation and is the direct commander of the new UU called the Knight Beoculm. The country immediately begins preaching what it was founded upon that the plague was punishment but only temporary as long as the people stopped sinning. The plague was a test and the people will rewarded with bliss if they pass but the leaders think a passing grade requires forced conversion of those around them.
They started with Sienne which makes since a long while ago that very same nation betrayed Corenwal. The navies massed at the city of Sienne obliterating what little remained of their navy but the nation had its own problems brewing in the north as well. Sienne’s navy makes a stand but is utterly crushed as the army of the Empire lands outside of the city.
Bhatotist Empire of Neptanian quickly through ferocity of its attacks overwhelms the defenses and breaks through the walls. Anyone who refuses to convert is quickly slaughtered and from the ruins of the heathens a Bhatotist Temple is built in the city. The survivors are the first victims of what seems to be a Bhatotist crusade.
While this takes place Tampla nervous of Sienne’s recent aggression and seeing an opportunity to expand they attack. From the north they swarm taking control of the countryside very quickly as Sienne’s forces seem almost nonexistent. They then hear word of why and turn their attention west. They quickly expand across the vast plains and found the city of Tadil in the northern portion of their nation.
Tampla offers a pact below for all of Sienne lands currently occupied by the Bhatotists.
Rise of Carran
Carran using the plunder from its conquests reclaims the lands of the old Malduke Empire. Using a union with one of the stronger tribes they regain the necessary momentum and power to reclaim and defeat the tribes. Two strong ones in the south still remain and will be much more of a challenge for Carran.
The capital Carran has been around since the collapse of the Maldukes but three new cities of Riston, Pargrade, and Tararq are established.
City-States of Bhatotist Bay
Bhatotists always influenced the various tribes along the Great Sea but until the Great Plague these tribes kept their normal lifestyles. The radical version of Bhatotistism that evolved gained many followers in these tribes which by far were the most affected. As trade collapsed many of these people who made their livelihood off of the trade. As trade resumed the stories of why it took place and what to do to stop further suffering trickled in from the Bhatotists. Massive conversions took place and as trade picked back up well the tribes organized into stable states adding to the power of the Bhatotist Republic.
Dilhava
The cities smell of rotting flesh as bodies are burned. Luckily the plague begins to recede in effectiveness and the people begin to believe the plague was transmitted from rotting flesh and the only way to stop it from further spreading was to burn the rotting flesh. Not a very intelligent thought but the peasants will accept about anything to explain this phenomenon.
Expansion in the south quickly scoops up what use to be T’lur Pa colonies until the plague destabilized the country. The city of Zurrla is founded half way between the capital and Condra.
Hyoln
The plague strikes here but not very devastating as the population is not as densely crowded here. Only when winter came did the plague begin to spread quickly infecting many people.
The country begins the project Kinsman Keep full speed ahead despite the plague.
Ilion
An academy is started for all of the intellectuals of Ilion. Also, investment to contain the plague bears fruitless results as it is has already infiltrated every bit of the nation. The best course is to just let things run its course.
Tereno
Tereno ends the quarantine and just lets the disease run its course which weakens the cause of the rioters. The army quickly moves in and reestablishes order with blunt force. The country establishes the colony of Pizarri near the reorganizing Karankoff states.
(+1 Tereno Urban Economy,)
Hyoln
The country begins a new project which is to help generate further culture with all sorts of new public buildings being constructed. The plague also strikes but Hyoln but spreads slowly in the lightly populated country. The Council of Nine loses a member to the plague but other than that the ramifications are not that large yet.
Karankoff
Karankoff goes through almost a magical reversal of fortunes as new revitalized leadership takes the helm. With the help of the Bhato League the country is able to easily crush the resistance and even expand further downriver. Most of the population converts to Bhatotism with the king’s backing.
The nation now that it is reborn must make a choice of whether or not to join the Bhato League or develop in isolation.
Holy Bhatotist Empire of Neptanian
The Bhatotist Empire instates a religious council of church leaders to lead the nation with country now centralized at Neptanian. The country faces many problems probably the Empire that was affected most by the plague. The crowded island cities quickly became traps were tens of thousands of citizens died. Corenwal was estimated to have some 30,000 people living in it before the plague but due to it its population has dwindled to a mere 10,000l. Every year things improve but most of the city is a ghost town and productivity is still too low and trade avoiding the island for a quick recovery to take place.
The northern colony had been increasingly separated and the people slowly became more and more self-sufficient. The colony declared independence and set up protected trade networks with T’lur Pa to ensure that its trade was free to move along the Great Sea.
The Bhato League is started to create a League promising to protect followers of the faith and to help propagate the spread of Bhatotism. The country also encourages Bhatotism to spread and pushes its faith to its far off colonies. It expands such colonies to encourage the spread of colonies bringing the faith along with me.
Dilhava
Dilhava continues to incorporate its territories and launches a minor expansion southwest to scoop up what use to be T’lur Pa’s colonies. The urban growth that has taken place here begins to pay off despite setbacks by the plague.
(+1 Urban Economy)
Fizcat
The plague finally begins to spread despite the best attempts to contain it. Despite this Fizcat does expand eastwards. The expansion yields results as scouting expeditions find the source of the River Sali. The city of Ashayl is established on the Bay of Saliden.
Many people convert to Fizcatian Atheism in response to the plague believing worship of gods only makes them more powerful and more oppressive. Small minorities are found all over the Great Sea.
Plague Moves West
As the plague struck the Great Sea without mercy similar events take place in the west as rapidly spreads up the River Animas. Kaldurrha Kieesta is saved in a way by the plague (See Below) but more problems crop up.
Terra Trifluentia also takes on a huge beating by the plague not from them it being spread due to the way trade is set up but because their merchant class and merchant classes of fellow nations are almost wiped out. Trade on the River Animas comes to a near halt devastating the economies of the people along it. The plague does not make it to Tephen yet as trade has slowed. Will the plague burn out before it is able to breach the walls of Terra Trifluentia which may be Taruq-Sky Gods only hope for complete victory.

The Taruq Wars Continued
The wars of Taruq enter another set of years with the civilized nations exhausted now having to deal with the Plague while Taruq-Sky Gods advanced without mercy across the lands. Kaldurraha Kieesta manages to survive by the forces of nature and the siege tactics of Taruq.
The capital was encircled and besieged on the verge of falling. The commander of Taruq-Sky Gods left 500 men to create an illusion of a siege while the forces moved through the countryside plundering. The king believing the time to strike the enemy was now or his people would starve within the city. The king fell into the trap but Taruq-Sky Gods were already dead for the plague had come.
Now as they moved along the rich banks of river plundering and pillaging they came in contact with dead bloated bodies infested with the disease. These soldiers hear rumors of such things but were shocked that it had come this far. The army now was carrying a disease which weakened the strength of Taruq-Sky Gods men. The king knew reinforcements were coming from the country but he did not know when or where or even if they already struck. All he knew was that his people would collapse if he did not leave the walls soon. They left the safety of the walls attacking Taruq-Sky Gods faling into their trap. The horse warriors tough from years of warfare followed orders despite being weakened by the disease came down trapping the Kaldurraha’Kieesta’s men between the ramparts and the enemy army. They fought back fiercely as both sides inflicted massive casualties on the other. The battle went all day long with no apparent victor. Finally with the advantageous position of not being surrounded by all sides Taruq-Sky Gods win a great victory and raze the capital of the country to the ground. The King is nowhere to be found. They may all be dead and unaccounted for but the people have the thought that the king is still alive coming to fight for his people. The kingdom hold together just barely.
All the major cities are still held by Kaldurraha’Kieesta are still held. Parts of the countryside are held by the Sky Gods-Taruq.
(-1 Kaldurraha Kieesta Rural Economy, -1 Kaldur as a economic center, -3 bonus plunder to the Sky Gods, - 2000 Infantry, -200 cavalry, -1000 Ohensskeih, -1 confidence)
(+3 Bonus Plunder to Sky Gods, -3000 cavalry, -1000 Death Lords)
T’lur Pa emerges from the clouds relatively victorious thanks to investment in border tribes which bear the brunt of Taruq-Sky Gods attack. The tribes resist the enemy inflicting casualties wherever possible. These people who fled the intital Taruq invasion are experienced in fighting these horse warriors but in the end they are overwhelmed and conquered by the superior enemy.
By the time Taruq reaches the Harshan tribe it is too late as the entire kingdom has been conquered. Taruq-Sky Gods move in liberating a small portion of the kingdom but T’lur Pa had long prepared for this using the enemies but an attack in the south came comprising of Carran soldiers. This force advanced a bit slower but a pincer movement was not possible. Things went okay but fighting far from home was taking its toll on Carran but some ground was made with really no major engagement as T’lur Pa was smart in avoiding the traps and out flanking maneuvers of Taruq-Sky Gods by preparing its own scouting parties long before they arrived.
(T’lur Pa: -4000 infantry, -250 cavalry)
(Sky Gods: -3500 cavalry Carran: -1000 cavalry)
Now we move to the final front of the war. The war may hinge on whether Terra Trifluentia can emerge victorious while here allies fight a war of distraction on other fronts.
Terra Trifluentia is an interesting position never developing a force comprising of cavalry instead wholly on well organized and elite infantry groups. When facing an enemy of horsemen this will be devastating on open grounds so Terra Trifluentia begins a massive construction of foritifications. Well of course Taruq-Sky Gods did not set by and idly let these fortifications be built they raided and well were good at it.
Well communications to the north are ravaged by raids causing some minor revolts in the north where the Plague is most prevalent. The trade centers of the north remain relatively unaffected by revolt for why what is the purpose? Trade is damaged as Maasla Kiesta barely holds together.
Slowly Terra Trifluentia begins to get the upper hand on the raiders as their fortifications become more established. The Terra Trifluentians make a landscape horsemen fear and through excellent communication in the south the country is able to funnel enemy raiders into further traps. Scouting is near impossible as getting behind enemy lands becomes very hard. Terra Trifluentia has made a stand but Taruq-Sky Gods did not concentrate their forces on them this turn.
But there is more. An ambitious raid with the help of Tephen cavalry is launched to extract revenge on the Sky Gods. They journey westwards along the plains in a move similar to that of the sacking of Fraternia. Of course the Sky Gods left a force to defend the mountain passes along the border with Terra Trifluentia along with the raiders who had all but had to stop. This force is easily spotted by the Sky God’s scouts as they race south to defend their capital.
Now the mobility of the Sky Gods is much superior and their knowledge of mountain passes is another advantage but their enemy has a much shorter distance to cover. The forces of Terra Trifluentia and Tephen arrive about a half day before that of the Sky Gods. They move on the city but civilian resistance is high and they are unable to break to the high mountain tombs or the palace of the Sky God. Some minor plundering takes place but when the Sky Gods army does arrive they are forced to fall back or be annihilated.
(Sky Gods: -1000 infantry, -2000 Death Lord, +1 Bonus Plunder)
(Terra Trifluentia: -2500 infantry, -1 Economy to Sky Gods, -1 Economic Center)
Veneratio Atavorum
Has spread to become the dominant religion in Tephen as the cooperation between the two increases. Many people in convert in Kaldurraha’ Kieesta as things get really bad so many turn to the faith seeing the successes of Terra Trifluentia.
Tephen
Tephen continues to develop peacefully while aiding Terra Trifluentia. Nothing much happens here except the small amount of people getting sick near the border regions…
