Favourite civ game

Salon is quite a bad UB.
The additional benefit from Salon (+ 20% :gp:) applied to all cities and multiplied by 5 is BTS Philosophical trait. If you do the same thing with most other UB's, you'll get more then a BTS trait.

Taixue isn't that great either, though.

By the way, Ales, if you use the link button (the little globe with an infinity symbol next to it) you can turn any text you select into a link to something. You can also type out the URL tags if you prefer.
For example, "[UR-L="http://www.ftg-comic.com/"]This is a link[/UR-L]" (remove the - marks to make it work) will turn the words 'This is a link' into a link to http://www.ftg-comic.com/

Like this: This is a link

Might be handier for the first posts than pasting in the URL in text form.

Easy pick for me. Mali is very weak and has poor starting land, as well as a boring (though challenging) UHV. Korea has a fun UHV, but overall China just provides an altogether more fun gameplay. So for me it's Italy, a fun and unusual civ to play whether for UHV or any other way.

Italy

Corea

This is where I'm going to have to be a little present-centric.

Italy won't have much trouble winning this round, I'm sure.
I'm sorry, Titian. I'm sorry, Monica Bellucci.

Mali vs Korea vs Italy

UU: a kind of dessert archer vs fireworks vs bersagliere
Well, I see no use in any of them, let's give it to the dessert archer.

UB: mint vs sewgeon vs art studio
These UBs are really something good in the contrary of UUs :D. The art studio is more aesthetic than a mint or a sewgeon, so it goes to italian studios.

UP: wealth vs naval attack vs renaiscance
...it goes to renaiscance

1st UHC:
Sankore+prophet vs 1 budhist+1 confucian academy vs capela sixtina+Pisa+San Marco
The Sankore project is quite interesting, while budhist and confucian academies is 1/2 of chinese 1st UHC. Pisa is out contest (if it was Santa Maria de Flaures it would be different) so Italy has only Capela Sixtina and San Marco. It goes for italy again, Capela Sixtina is better than Sankore and San Marco beats the prophet with ease.

2nd UHC:
Pilgrim vs Printing Press vs influencial :culture:
Pilgimage is unique, while the other two are borrowed by neighbours, so Mali wins again.

3rd UHC:
The richest civ in the world vs the biggest (eastern) pirate in the world vs The roman empire.
Well... vikings do it better than Koreans and Romans better than Italians... So Mali wins again, because there is no competition

Summary:
Mali: 3 (:wow:)
Korea: ...0 (well, the tasks in final analysis...really...is bad...)
Italy: 3

Draw! Hmmm... Another one test then: historicity!
Hitoricity:
Mali: Yes, it fits very well the real history, if we forget the fact that it represents many different polities
Korea: No relation with history (except from the Printing Press and the duality of religions Budhism and Confucianism)
Italy: It fits history. Italy wasn't united, but it's the same problem with Mali!:crazyeye:

Draw again! Ok let's see the gameplay:
Gameplay:
Mali: Rush Sankore, pop a priest, a merchants, many more merchants and no tech
Korea: It is most chalenging, balancing war and peace between China and Mongolia...
Italy: Pop 3 artists, build three wonders and command your bersagliere to conquer the remainant 20% of Mediterranean (the rest will flip to you).

Well... Korea wins this battle as the most challenging...

Draw again... Let's see the leaderheads:
Mali: Mansa Musa, fine
Korea: Wang Kong, fine again
Italy: Lorenzo di Medici, fine, Cavour fine

Draw all of them, I'll see the music, colours and the flags then:
Mali: Not a music really... The colour is good and the flag good.
Korea: Mediocre music... The colour is good and the flag good.
Italy: Awsome music :D. The colour is fine and the flag good.

At last we have a winner! :D Well, Italy manages to get a lead due to its fascinating music:
ta-taTata-ta-taTata-...

Spoiler :

Mali: 5
Korea: ...2
Italy: 6

P.S: If Korea had the music of PSY, it may be another one draw :D

Mali!

So many votes for Mali. Surprising considering they were the only civ without a single vote in the previous one.
