The white flag mean you surrender.
No! You don't say! Is that right? I never knew that!
Are you quite sure you're not making some kind of mistake?

That's supposed to be an Anglo-union flag it, it has a canadian maple leaf and the stripes and stars for Usa
That would make the Olympics even more depressing.I'd be happy if all flags were black. I'm still not sure I see any point to them.
The thing about flags is that they're another form of heraldry. And the best designs are the simple ones, since those are the ones that can be most easily seen and discerned at a distance. However, I read somewhere that the *best* flags are easily drawn by a fifth grader or something. Which doesn't really have to do with childhood indoctrination, just that the average drawing skills possessed by most people are about in line with those of fifth graders.
I agree, that would be very easy to identify. However I'm wondering whether black is too harsh as a main colour. That's why I believe getting in some sort of compromise between the current existing flag and the silverfern (as the one I posted above) could probably federate more people. It would be less difficult to swallow for traditionalist and it would still strengthen the identity of New Zealand. They should save themselves the trouble and just change it to the silverfern, it's the obvious choice.
Not enough Jamaica
