come to think of it i like Australias and NZ's flag even though they are "stuffed". I don't know why. Maybe because i really like blue.

We keep having flag competitions, but the new ones... they don't really go for the colour blue... pinks and blacks

no one actually likes them, so we stay with the stuffed one

I'd probably award Belgium the "Worlds Ugliest Flag" trophy, for choosing a bad design with a really painful color combination.

The Nazi German flag was ridiculously pompous. One of the many displays of their complete lack of sense for aesthetics.

Couldn't disagree more. The Nazi German flag was very well-balanced with a simple, recognizable symbol in the middle - a little like the flag of New Mexico, which has also been posted in this thread a few times. I don't see how it's "pompous" at all. In fact, I think the swastika in itself is very aesthetically pleasing - which is why it's a shame that it was used as a symbol of such a terrible, abhorrent ideology.

Other flags that I like that have already been posted are those of Maryland, California, Bhutan and Danmark (where I'm from).
