I've always thought the French tri-color was pretty cool, if only because it's pretty emblematic without needing any kind of embellishment; it's France.

Also the Union Jack, the Welsh wyvern flag, Swedish flag, and China's current flag.

I think the flag of the Kingdom of Prussia looks pretty cool. Most historical empires had cool looking flags or other such symbolism.

Beyond the relevance to my own politics, I genuinely like this flag. (In fact, I sometimes wonder if my politics exist purely to gain access to the flag!) It's very striking and dynamic, and cuts past the faff that a lot of flags entertain.

I can't think of any that I dislike, particularly, though. I'm tempted to suggest the Union Flag, although I suspect that may just be bitterness on my part, rather than any particular considered aesthetic objection.

I quite like the Soviet flag, as it happens. It's quite simple, quite understated. A lot of flags that introduce iconography become very crass, too showy, but it's very restrained.
