I think the missing links are a 'feature' rather than an oversight. The forum jump serves the same purpose, if you have accurate mouse skills.

You are right but I disagree.
The forum jump list is a long list and much scrolling and searching is needed. And don't count on me having accurate mouse skills.

Forum Jump does default to the forum you're in.
In a word; Yes. Thunderfall was working on this for a few hours to give us some spiffy new features (I, personally, love the multiquote function).

There's no forum thing at the bottom to jump to i.e. "Sports Forum" at the bottom of pages anymore.

Yes that's true, I see it now. But if I want to go to "Civilization Fanatics' Forums" from here, then I need to scroll and search, and I'm not good at that.
Edit:
And I also need to click the "Go" button, that's one extra click.

Have you seen a laptop keyboard?
But I do find the home key when I look hard enough.Besides, it takes one extra key stroke.

Yeah, you'll notice the "quote=NAME;POST_NUMBER" when you quote someone, so just grab the applicable post number and stick it in.
For example.
You can also use the "quote multiple posts" button to... quote multiple posts. Try it out

If you hover over the number to the right of the post you'll see it. Remember it or jot it down.
Alternatively, you can right click "quote" and open it in a new window, and C&P the whole lot into your original post.
