I once tried an OCC type game on warlord level and very early on I irritated the persians and they walked in, took my only city and it was over. The other civs all ganged around me laughing and one said to me "Go back to Chieftan" I was so humiliated

I got that one playing at the Chieftain level! Now that's humiliating!

What cracks me up every time is when i offer some competing civ 1 gold (or world map in, say, year 2000) as a "token of goodwill" and the leader tells me, "Thank you, Hiawatha. This will do much to heal the rift between our people."Often, if i'm bored with a game, i offer this gift just to get a chuckle.
