Why do I, when trying to picture how Diablo as a movie would be, se something like 300 except instead of 300 falanx there are (max) 8 people and instead of deformed persians there is a horde of demons. On top of that the 8 don't just hold there ground, they advance.
Not saying it's a bad concept, just that it isn't my type of movie.

I haven't seen 300 yet but it sounds great. As for Diablo, I think it has a good storyline if they make the movie start at Diablo I and then carry over to II and the expansion (or maybe they can be sequels if they can stretch it out a bit). But anyways who doesn't like hack and slash (apart from you ).

I can already see the first hero slaying diablo and then sticking his soulstone into his skull to gain his power, and then corrupting absolutely will be awesome if they make it, I enjoyed the cutscenes in the game..

the wanderer and the other guy(don't remember his name) enters Baal's(I think) tomb and Tyriel comes to stop them.

I didn't really get stuck in the first one like I did in the second one.

It would be interesting if they could actually make a good movie out of a video game, something to please the critics. I'm not sure what that could be, there aren't enough games grounded enough in reality to please them.

Monkey Island would make for a good comedy.

They were going to make a Monkey Island film about ten years ago (I think they even had a script), but it didn't get any further than that.

If they did it now, it would just be called a rip off of the Pirates of the Caribbean films (and they take some elements from the Monkey Island games).
