only 26? A bad example of what?
I still haven't a clue what relevance 26 has. Honest injun.
Hah, I do. I can't wait till the countdown gets to 0. 20 and this is one.

Most Christian churches don't like utilitarianism, either, contradicting the Bible as thoroughly and fundamentally as it does, so I don't know if Civ King can get much out of that logic. It sorta is, depending on the premises of the discussion. When people get trapped trying to make decisions regarding policies where they are effectively choosing life vs. life vs. life then the moral calculus often crutches with quantitative measures and raw numbers. Even if TF doesn't like utilitarianism.
rules without exceptions are easier to make when the number of would-be exceptions are incredibly low. When it's a late term pregnancy gone wrong in many cases it is easier to terminate the pregnancy by Caesarean section which depending on how late the pregnancy could have a substantial chance for the baby to survive. So are late term abortions.
Maybe I'm just dim or summat.
C'est une mystère!
