Sir, the correct term is GOMAD "Gallon of milk a day" ;)

How much do you weigh? An extra 2,400 cal a day is no joke.

I don't suggest it to anyone but the scrawniest kids I train.
I GOMAD'd seriously for about twelve weeks this year, January through March.

I was (and in some ways still am) horrendously skinny. 5'5" 117lbs. Got up to 130 in twelve weeks -- about one pound per week. After that I cut back to 2-3 gallons per week, which turns out to be about maintenance with the rest of my diet. Goal weight is around 140.

In those twelve weeks my squat went from 115lbs to 185lbs, deadlift from 135lbs to 275lbs and bench from 80lbs to 135lbs. Noob gains, but I was happy with them.

Recovery from eye surgery has completely shut down my weightlifting. Doctor's orders. :(

2,4 kcal ? I burn that much in about 90 seconds just by sitting in front of my computer.

I hope you get back on the horse eventually, keep at it :)

Two Thousand and Four Hundred - That's give or take the average caloric intake for a large sedentary man or an active one of average size.

Well, I need at least two million calories a day.

I'm deliberately being an ass here because that's one of my favorite pet peeves.

And I just looked up 'gallon'. 3,8 liters milk a day ? :dubious: I can drink one liter before flatulence kicks in. Triple that and I have to exclude myself from polite society for the rest of the day.

Lactose intolerant, which means I don't drink milk all too often; I will do it though on occasion, like when we run out of bagels for breakfast, and I have to eat cereal.

I drink milk in my coffee. Not a lot.

Mostly with cereal but I will drink a glass of the stuff once in a while. We keep changing what type of milk we buy but I think we get the 2% stuff most often.

(My mom grew up on a dairy farm and she says that she'd only buy unpasteurized milk if it was available.)

When I was a little kid I drank exclusively 2% milk. I never even drank water. So yes, I "got milk"!

I'm not at all lactose intolerant, but I only drink rice milk. Can't stand the taste of real milk.

I can't stand the taste of milk either, unless it's with cereal, donuts, cake, or french toast/pancakes/waffles.

I drink whole mammal milk. I did try to go to 2% for awhile, but it just didn't work out, so back to whole. Drink massive amounts. Love being lactose tolerant! :)

I drink mammal milk. Mostly with my cereal in the morning, but sometimes I drink a glass with a meal or snack.

I usually don't notice the difference between whole/2%/1%/skim unless I have one right after the other. Thus, I don't really care which one I have. My wife prefers skim so that is what I have now, but before marriage I usually got 2% or 1%.
