Graphics Modification Requests Thread

Here's a list of ancient buildings I think would be a great addition for Civ 4:
1. Nerud Dag Temple
2. Nero’s Golden House
3. Tower of Winds
4. Great Ziggarat of Jiroft
5. Cyrus’s Palace
6. Susa Palace
7. Palace of Ishurnasipal
8. Baths of Diocletian
9. Basillica Cisterns of Constantinople
10. Pont de Gard

Could anyone create a dark skinned bishop/archbishop I could use as Desmond Tutu for South Africa?

Has anyone ever thougth about making a leaderhead for one of these Persons:
Indira Ghandi http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indira_Gandhi
Golda Meir http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golda_Meir
Hillary Clinton http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillary_Rodham_Clinton
Benjamin Netanyahu http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benjamin_Netanyahu
Trygve Lie http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trygve_Lie
Kofi Annan http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kofi_Annan
Angela Merkel http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angela_Merkel

I know there are some special requests, and for some of them, even e reskin of an existing leaderhead with another background could do.

I remember that a while back I was looking through the forums and came across an image of a modified version of CFKane's Beowulf Leaderhead, it appeared to be a simple reskin but may have had a few added or removed elements, I can't precisely remember. I know it was being created for some mod, but I can not remember which one. Does anybody know what I am talking about? And if so could you point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

The Steps.

1: Start Game.
2: Press Advanced.
3: Press Options.
4: Press Graphics.
5: Choose Opening Menu.

I'm unsure where exactly to post this, so I'll post it in the civilisation requests thread, the graphics modification requests thread, and the unit requests thread. I'm only asking for graphics though, not code.

Leaderheads (all animated; I can make a static leaderhead by myself):

Kane, from Command & Conquer (the Tiberium universe, that is). Here and here are two examples. Preferably with a background very similar to either of those two examples.

Redmond Boyle, again from Command & Conquer. For example, here. the background doesn't matter much, so long as it fits (which the given example does; GDI is blue-ish in this game).

Jack Granger, once again from Command & Conquer. Here and here are two examples. The background, as shown by the two examples, would have the same style as Redmond Boyle's one (though different, of course), but as with Redmond Boyle, you're free to do whatever you want so long as it fits.

Alexander Romanov, still from Command & Conquer, but from the Red Alert universe, not from the Tiberium universe. Two examples are here and here. I'd like the background to be similar, with a Soviet flag, and a globe if you can fit it in, but if someone feels like cooking up his or her own suitable office, be my guest.

Yuri, also from Command & Conquer. As usual, two examples. Feel free to create your own background for him, although I'd suggest the device on the first picture makes for a good background.

Michael Dugan, the last one from Command & Conquer, with two examples. I like the first picture, but I'm not entirely sure what the flag on it is, and I suppose the second picture would look better. Feel free to think up something by yourself.

Units:

Securitron, from Fallout (New Vegas), here.

Zone Trooper, from Command & Conquer (Tiberium Wars), here and here. This unit would replace the Paratrooper, but instead of using a parachute, this unit would use a jetpack to fly to another tile when paradropping. If that isn't possible, perhaps the unit could land with some kind of orbital drop pod? If that also isn't possible, oh well, too bad. Ideally, this unit would attack with white-blue laser beams (well, railguns, but they look like lasers), but it doesn't really matter.

Black Hand, from Command & Conquer (Tiberium universe), here, here, here, and here. As you can see, there's a flamethrower variant and a laser variant. Ideally, this unit would attack with a mix of flamethrowers and red laser beams, but assuming you can't create multiple units / models for one 'unit group' (you can select single display in the options menu), pick the one you like best.

Kirov, from Command & Conquer (Red Alert 2 / 3), here. This unit would replace the Airship - I'd imagine (but have no idea really) that an airship-like unit requires different files than ordinary units.

Chrono Legionnaire, from Command & Conquer (Red Alert 2), here and here. This unit would also replace the Paratrooper, but instead of paradropping, this unit would teleport. If that is at all possible, of course. The unit would ideally attack with a chrono beam, instead of ordinary guns, but that doesn't really matter.

Well, that was a lot. Feel free to do whatever you want of this list, including nothing at all. Thanks in advance! :)

I'm looking for a good LH to represent 'Aho'eitu of the Tu'i Tonga Empire.

As far as I can tell, there are only two male Polynesian LHs in the database. Kamehameha is too late and his power levels are too high. Hone Heke looks good, but the facial paintings suggest Maori too much.

Does anyone have another suggestion? Or can someone help me remove the paintings from Hone Heke's face?

Hi. I would be greatly pleased if someone would take the part of the Blizzard feature (mods/ffhageofice/assets/art/structures/improvements) that is the "rain" (propably rain.dds), and make it usable as a feature, so that I can use it without crashing the game (the game really does not like using blizzard nor rain like a feature, might not know what happens next other features). I planned to have storms at sea and snow (and thus, on hills every now and then, if it matters).

Alternatively someone might just point me to something that works as feature and looks like a storm.

This was really neither coding nor graphics request specifically, so that is why this might look out of place.

The attached nif seems to be working fine, at least it does not crash the game. :)

Sorry for the repetition, but I'm still looking for a good LH. Anything that is generically Polynesian, male, pre-European contact and not Maori would be suitable.

I reckon Novator's Porus (4th leader, 1st pic) would make a good Polynesian LH, with a few texture swaps (clothes, background, perhaps lighten skin a touch). The topknot is a well-attested Polynesian hairstyle, and the beard isn't too inappropriate for a non-Māori, pre-Colonial chief. Been considering adding him to HR as one of the Tu'i Tonga myself.

Interesting idea, thanks. Wouldn't have considered anyone with a beard.

I don't really dare to do anything except applying a general filter to LH textures though. And the clothes probably need more than that. If I was comfortable with texture edits I would have already attempted to remove the face paint from a Maori LH.

I've a bit of experience now with texture swaps and such, so I can give it a go if you're willing to wait a bit.

Oh, that would be great. Waiting is not a problem at all, thank you.

What do you think? Wasn't a lot I could do to change the clothing to make him look more pre-colonial, so I settled on retexturing them with traditional Polynesian tapa cloth. The little patch on his right shoulder is unavoidable sadly, the model's arms are mirrored and his left shoulder just looked wrong without it there.
