Aw, you sound like you want another horsie map. :)
Bread is among the best things you could eat and not get fat though.
By "fiber" they mean - in no small part - bread.
You mean the giant TV and the Pakistani maid?
Ah, wait, i get it. You meant spandex. Ok.
To some degree, yes. These are all largely alcohol free societies. So what do you do when you come into money?
Right: Coffee, tea, candy, moar candy, lots of meat.

Climate and geography of course play into the cultural causes too. It's all quite urban (say compared to Morocco) and there is virtualy no culture of physical exercise as an end in itself.
When they saw the colonial masters play cricket they went like: "They move! In the sun! God, they are such barbarians!"
Sport is something camels and - wait for it - horsies do while you're on top of them.

Well, i suspect being forced to be dressed like the Immortals in 300 is not really beneficial to the mental or somatic health of saudi women.

And i suspect that's not the only factor limiting their energy expenditure.

Bad things may be bad, but they are not the cause of everything...

Sure, the lack of high-end jobs for them, or rather the prohibition of any kind of work outside the house, does play a role too. The point being that women are basically slaves in Sharia Arabia, or rather slaves of slaves, given that the non-rich male arabs there are serfs by and large to their glorious king.

You mean in the Saudi steel mills and Saudi coal mines?

    Wait i've got another one:

Foxconn - at least you won't get fat.
Yeah, it's not that simple. Societies typically aren't.

I like you to meet a friend of mine. He is sometimes missunderstood, but useful in many circumstances. I call him "The General":

    Yeah...
Look, i made some "general" statements in post 721 myself. I can see the utility. But i have this thing about that being hazardous outside of certain boundaries.
    "Slavery" being one of them.

I believe this map is correct.

    Spoiler :

For some reason, Picasa wouldn't let me upload it as 'metatronmustdie.jpg'

So, the closer to the red, the more negative it is?

Percentage of people refusing to speak Castillian Spanish, as a form of political protest about that little bit of disputed territory on the border between Spain and Portugal?

Clearly an important issue for Mongolia.

It is an interesting map though :) Doesn't seem this is about a resource at all. Maybe some sort of peculiar dietary habbit?

It could also be about number of banned cults, but with so many shades of color it seems unlikely to be that specific.

Very strange that Paraguay is not at all in color, when Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay are.

A question (too bored to search) can someone name the only country in color in Africa, and also the small khanate south of 'great nation of Kazakhstan?' :)

Might be, i guess i would be expecting for the original country to be in red too in that case (or even a darker tone of red). I guess though Takhisis might have thought that would be a dead-give-away and he colored the map himself i gather...

Still, Romania, Mongolia, and Colombia, do seem like strange common destinations for migration of any particular group.

    Define 'negative'.

Please note that there's a colour in the scale which is missing.

And no I don't think it has to do with Borat.

You're lucky there aren't fifty shades.
